@Hrae, yes yes, mac doesn't have nearly the support as windows does, and yes, you do pay more for the same you can get for cheaper. All of those are true.

But I like macs. And I'm not the kind of person who needs the best computer ever, since I don't play games that require anything near the best.

But I've wanted one of these for a while. So I got one because I could afford it.

And my sister just saw that she has just gotten her first gold on fiesta.

I never said it was, but just that I've never heard of those two ideas being associated. Usually because of the costs associated with the Mac hardware vs. performance and the usual compatibility issues.

Except for the fact that bandwidth issues will cripple the service.

Yeah, the US already can't compete with much of the developed world in terms of Internet speed. Our infrastructure is pretty old, and our country is too big to provide fast internet everywhere. Average for the US in 2008 was 3.9Mbs.
Japan and gets around 60 Mbs on average, Korea 45 Mbs, but the smaller the country, the less infrastructure you need and the less time and money it takes to upgrade.

And if people already using high speeds start doing this cloud computing, it would only slow it down further.

And Macs are definitely not worth the money. Optimal settings are Macbook Pro for laptop, and a custom built desktop for other use. Macs are nice only because of the Mac OS, which is nice for programming since it's a Unix based system. Other than that, if you load a Mac OS onto a Dell laptop of the same hardware specifications, the Dell laptop will perform better.
