So, mass effect 2 came out last tuesday and Bioshock 2 comes out next tuesday.

What (if any) titles is everyone looking forward to this year?

Personally, I'm looking forward to Bioshock 2 (February 9th) and Super Street Fighter 4 (April 27th). Plus the next WoW expansion should release late this year as well. :D

I forgot about Final Fantasy 13! But the new battle system sounds bad. I dislike real time battles (FFX had a great system) and not being able to control your teammates? Seriously? That leaves to much to the AI. Also, if one character dies, you lose the fight, with no way to bring them back. That is really dumb.

Heavy rain looks AMAZING, but I don't have a PS3.

Max Payne 3 and Bioshock 2. Not a big gamer >_>


Heard FF13 was terrible.

yeah. The new systems are what really put me off. I haven't read any reviews of it, but I won't be getting it.

The Old Republic, Cataclysm, and Project Empire.

Yeah, I don't like real time action much either. I loved ff x battle system and x-2 was pretty cool to I guess. But I hated XII's battle system and story and graphics.

The old republic could be great. It had the best trailer at E3, but trailers don't show the real game.

If Old Republic turns out anything like KOTOR, it'll be great in my book. I've just got to set aside some cash. Gotta do some upgrades on the ol' machine first.

Very true. Kotor was awesome. Supposedly, for the Old Republic, each class will have different stories, that all tie in to the over arcing story that runs through the game.

Yep. I've seen all of the trailers. I've been keeping a close eye on the development. Looks very promising.
