Over LOAD!!! Too much cpu usage

I don't know if anyone experiences this but fiesta uses to much of your cpu ram space and your computer gets extremely hot and starts burning ( no jokes) I have a suggestion for fiesta- why not decrease the amount of frames sent in secs and the amount of information or packets sent in a sec.
I dunno if anyone has complained about this before so sorry if anybody has!:cries:

Fiesta is a bottomless pit for computer resources.

Worst memory leak I've actually seen in a game.

Lol i'll saY

You could start by reducing various video settings?

lafftar 01-07-2010 09:45 AM

How to do that?

Chimaera 01-07-2010 12:13 PM

Esc > Graphic Settings

lafftar 01-07-2010 03:03 PM

Sometimes it's not actually the game that is the problem. I once had that problem, so what I recommend is downloading Ad-Aware, from the site, then run it on max filtering, it should help cool down your computer a little, I will post the link to the download later today...:arg:

I don't think it's other applications. My machine (2.4Ghz) idles at around 15% CPU (well, I say idle, that's with web browser, mail client, IM client etc. open) on Ubuntu, and as soon as I start Fiesta it's up to 95-100% CPU. Admittedly, some of that may be WINE overhead, but even so, it is a pure resource hog.

Not the games fault

I don't think it's the game's fault at all. You just need a better processor or better CPU cooler. I can run the game fine, it only takes up 400mb of ram. The amount of CPU usage it takes up is normal for a developed game like Fiesta.

For starters what is your cpu running on? specs and etc.

Secondly what programmes u have running with fiesta when you play, msn, internet etc etc..

Thirdly try downloading and running http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html <-- that.

If it don't work buy a new cpu =]

Im running fiesta smooth as whipped butter on a cheap ass laptop.
