A_Forever 12-24-2009 03:16 PM

Its 11:16am, on Christmas Eve for me.

Not that I really care about this "holiday."

Hraesvelg 12-24-2009 03:26 PM

I like Christmas, personally. People just seem to be a bit more...festive. I like the music, too. They're fun to sing in groups and are open to a wide variety of musical interpretation. I also like getting together with the family for a big meal.

Jikanu 12-24-2009 03:30 PM

Merry Christmas!

A_Forever 12-24-2009 03:32 PM

I like Thanksgiving and New Years.

My birthday isn't too bad either ;D

Jikanu 12-24-2009 03:40 PM

Do regular old birthdays really count as holidays for anyone other than the brithday person?

A_Forever 12-24-2009 03:44 PM

Uhh. Why not?

On my birthday, I just want to hang out with people. Not have school, not do any work. Just hang out. If those people aren't having to do anything either, it's a holiday for them too 8D

Jikanu 12-24-2009 03:45 PM

i still have to go to school on my birthday ;-;

except for that one time...

A_Forever 12-24-2009 03:47 PM

My birthday is gonna be on a Sunday in '10 though.

So.. it's not like I get to skip school or anything.

Fighterboy 12-24-2009 04:57 PM

Its 12:57 PM Chrisstmas Eve here =.=

Sparkeh 12-24-2009 05:06 PM

I know my english sucks kinda. o:

But what does eve stands for? Or means? o_o

Hraesvelg 12-24-2009 05:09 PM

It's short for "evening", as in the day before. New Year's Eve is the day before New Year's Day, Christmas Eve is the day before Christmas, and so on.

Chimaera 12-24-2009 06:22 PM

Christmas was always a "holiday" and can be shamelessly celebrated whether you're religious or not. It was just a winter Roman festival where they got drunk, exchanged gifts, and banged all day.
