This facebook privacy stuff are all bullshit..

The so called "new privacy" settings barely made anything easier..

And the media goes nuts about how facebook pushes for people to have less privacy... which is not true either..

All rubbish!

These people that wrote the articles don't use Facebook..

Cops use facebook to find out about everthing ... ruining our parties.

That's why they give you privacy settings...

The point of the article is that even the CEO, which usually keeps his privacy settings pretty tight, had all of his stuff exposed to non-friends.

But was that because he didn't change his settings? Or because FB messed up the security settings?

I have my settings set to Friends only. Not sure how my information is going to leak out into the public.

I think FB's switch to the so called new privacy settings was buggy or something..

I believe they tried to keep most settings the same, but for some reason, some albums and applications the settings were changed.. (I had 2 applications that got switched to Everyone, but most stayed on Only Friends)

I just had to go re-adjust them..

People just caught his gap and is making a fuss about it...

you cna be searched on google now and it shows at least part of oyur friendslist when they click on your name. by default it's on. didn't know that until i saw this, just changed it. that's a stupid default.

The few friends showing thing has always been there, but I couldnt turn it off before..

One thing I did notice that they changed is, you now have to hide your entire friend's list, or show it to all your friends.. before the change, I can choose groups to show my FL to..

you can turn it off now... i think... i think that's one of the things i did... i tured a lot of stuff off xD
