Have you ever wondered what's in a treasure chest?
Well, I was running down Sand Beach one day to Burning Hill away from a mob train when i saw this weird chest. So, I went to check it out after the train went away and opened it. At first I thought some monster will pop put of something BUT.. O_O
Out dropped a MINI KEBING PET, some blessed elrues and other stuff. OMG. I WAS SO HAPPY. >.> okay, maybe sounds a bit exaggerated but yeahs, I went to countless KQs hoping for a pet but got none. So I was wondering what else will pop out of a treasure chest? xP

A pet is the best thing that can flop out of a chest, so you should rightfully be happy about it. :3 They do not always contain a pet, although the chance is rather big still.

Aside from that, they usually have things like enhancement stones, copper bars, and random stuff like herbs and other harvestables.

We was partying it up in the Graveyard and lo and behold, we see a chest off in the distance. The 5 of us fell on it like wolves and we cracked that baby wide open and what should spring forth but.... Roumen Return scrolls! OH MY GOD AMAZING!!!!

Once found 3 solo in the spawn of an hour - of course, with my luck, none of them had pets >_< But at least I ended up with 6 more uruga scrolls.

I had never seen one until just the other day when I saw 3 within a few hours. One had random regular stuff in it. One I pointed out to my party and as I was fighting all the mobs the cleric opened it took everything including the pet. (I hate him) JK . the third one I didn't get to see what was in it.

does anyone else think they look kinda like the chest from scooby doo and the thirteen ghosts?

XD apparently not many lower level players know wat a chest is... there was once were i was in LS1... and everybody walked passed it 0.o

i opened and yeah.. nothing exciting...

I have found a total of 6 chests only 4 could be opened 2 were in sand beach in areas that were unreachable of the 4 that were opened 3 contained pets.

I have had a Lucky Xir [4] drop before. Worth considerably more to a NPC than a pet is worth to the streetl market. 62s, I believe.

Off topic: I got killed like 4 times in Moonlight tomb cause i'm still lvl 25 and decided to have a mad dash with my friend to Burning hill. xDD

Just a noob question, but how the hell do you obtain a chest??? x_x

Well, it's not how to get. It's something like herb ; trees ; flowers those kinda thing that respawns all the time. Except you dun really know where it spawns and WHEN. But i'm sure it takes a mighty long time to spawn cause the things inside are like pets, blessed elrues, scrolls those kinda stuff. So if you see a treasure chest, open it IMMEDIATELY before someone else grabs it.

The chests spawn at random spots on any given map. You open them like you would farm a Wood or Mushroom. I opened on in Goblin Camp the other day and it had two Honeyings in it, but I mostly find junk in them. Roumen scrolls! Yay!

o.o wth. TWO PETS!? this world is unfair to some of us.

Everyone, CHARGE for SEA OF GREED cause i think that's where lots of chests spawn. xD

I got my pet by opening a herb bush not a chest.. although I found several chests in my "life-time".

I found one chest in Sea of Greed and it gave me 1 Copper Bar and 2 HP Pot Tier1. I was hoping for Xir/Lucky Xir/Blessed Xir or pets

Haven't found one yet and I don't think I'd ever will. My luck is -9999999 in fiesta.

I was in the graveyard with 2 other people on my party. We were killing staffs and just as we were about to leave I spotted a chest that had probably been sitting there the entire time. I got 2 pets (honeying and slime), copper lumps, lucky elrue, and a roumen scroll. I completely forgot about sequential allocation... i got the roumen scroll -_- I did ask for one of the pets back. The mage in my party didnt have a pet, the other cleric and I both already did have pets, and I really didnt want to be rude or selfish, so I let the mage keep the slime. I coulda used that pet too, cause I got 3 characters and then they all could have had pets... But like I said I didnt want to sound rude or selfish. And my good friend karma the next day spawned a chest right underneath me while I was killing a piggy bat ^^ just junk in it though :(

I saw one at the King Boogy spawn, and there was this 1x cleric over it. He asked what it was, and I said it would spawn a Dragon.

He ran, and I harvested.

WOW FlameGirl... 2 pets in 1 chest... that's a very nice tresure box u found!

I got like 2 Herb roots, a few LQ Copper Ores, some other herb (Geranium?), and a T1 Blessed Elrue. I NPC'd all of them. xD

I still think it was worth it. I would definately do it again!

anyone kept thinking that the green letter box in Forest of Mist (East of the Elderine Gate) kept reminding you of a tresure box?

even though its green.. XD everytime i walk pass i always go "OH! oh..."

wait, maybe that's the one i kept falling for... at least i rememerb seeing some box somewhere that always amde me think "Yay i found one!" then realised i couldn't click on it and got sad and hoped nobody realised what i was doing there
