I've decided to leave... hopefully for good, this time.

Not only is the conversation as of late not quite as stimulating, but I've never quite felt as if i fit in here... it felt like i was trying to place myself in an already established group. my ideals, musically, religiously, and politically, are always cause for argument, controversy and strife. Therefore, seeing as both parties suffer from me being here, i see no alternative option. I'll finish the last round of L&H, but after that, i'm going to leave and hope the black hole that is fiesta fan doesnt suck me back in. Not to say that you all arent perfectly fine people, but in refference to the people who leave never truly seem to STAY gone... but im deviating from the subject matter.

Anyways, i wish you all the best of luck, and hope you all have happy futures ahead of you. Bye.

Everyone's ideas get challenged all the time here, even mine heh. And no, we don't suffer from you being here.

You got something to say? You say it. Got something to share? Go ahead. Anything you wanna do? Green lights all the way. The consequences of course might be unpleasant, such as punishment by the Mod team (if you post kiddie porn, for instance), or your pride getting hurt when no one responded to your vids. So what? It's not like we're trying to tell you "We don't like you. Get out." Everyone posted threads once in a while that no one found interesting, and never posted anything back. And I never saw anyone leaving because some didn't agree and/or support them for every thought they shared. So if that's your cause for leaving, well... You're being a drama queen. No offense.

And one more thing. FiestaFan is not a black hole. The reason people come back is not because we ''drag" them back in, but because this is one of the few forums on the net that people can be what they want. Sky's your limit here.

Not really the reason im leaving. I can deal with the threads being ignored... i have since i joined o.o;;

i find a few of the people who i debate with frequently very closed minded, though, and not willing to take both sides into account. those arent the kinds of debates i want, so i shouldnt waste my time.

Oh well. gmail has spam filters, so...

coming into a debate, you must accept the fact that both points, until proven incorrect, have legitimacy. you must look at it from both perspectives to truly understand the debate.

You should join the debate team. You might learn a few things. With an actual, formal debate, you don't have to actually believe that your OWN position is true, you merely have to argue for it.
