What's Up WIth the Server Status?
 

Anyone know whats up with the server status right now? Is it down or is it on?
I really dont know. I started a thread in the outspark forum ever since server was down and asking what is exactly happening, but now it seems like server is up.
The only problem is.... well.... i still cant log in.. and in fact it seems like the whole of China cant get into Fiesta... we all keep on getting Error 403. Anyone know whats happening? I'm asking here because no one replying on the Outspark forum.

if that's indeed the case - if nobody from china is able to log in, I suspect they've done an IP block from the asian countries. Reason for this can only be that these countries have their own version of Fiesta.

HOWEVER, I find it pretty unlikely they'd place an IP block this late... we shall see I guess.

you wont notice the China thing until like page 3... so just jump there

I skimmed through that thread, and it does indeed seem like china has been banned. I suspect they would give us some info about it soon, or maybe they'll just sweep it under the rug and not talk about it.

It might be due to China's own laws (they have alot of laws about the internet in general) or it might be what I said before; they have their own Fiesta game version, so they are restricted from using ours.

haha, yeah I know a certain guild in Teva will suffer a blow from this block as well.

LOL.. so far only china...dang.. now i really need to learn Korean or chinese

By the way.... Gold Spammers are in fact mostly Caucasians... i wont say they are Americans because im not sure... but they are not CHinese for sure.. the reason is mainly because if you play any free MMORPG that is on a CHinese server you will not find ONE gold spammer.. and they tend to have very respectful communities as well.

Only Chinese upper class ppl are like that.. haha....and amazingly Chinese ppl think that the upper class ppl are like that due to western influence. talking about elitist.... French ppl and Koreans are alot more elitist than China.... come to china and walk around.. you will see more beggers than snoby ppl... unless you're in Shanghai of coure....yes Mainland Chinese ppl do piss me off... but im just saying.. if you play on a Chinese Server of any MMORPG before... they dont actually cause that much Havoc as they do in Fiesta.... and secondly... your thoughts are just selfish.. you need to think about ppl like me.. who are not exactly Chinese, but are living in China. We need to play fiesta too and our Chinese is not good enough to play on an chinese server. And what you just said is very racisit because it kinda holds true in all nationality....(i lived in many countries before so I know)

Umm.... let see..... Ur supposing a noob is chinese because the IGN looks Chinese... guess what english speaking ppl uses japanese looking IGNs. ANd its their freedom if they want to join KQ or not... if they can understand item descriptions they do understand English to some level, or else they will be playing on the Chinese server. We (as in ppl living in China playing Fiesta) went through google fetched some information... it just happens to be that in order to play you need to change ur IP into non Chinese IP.... ehhhh.... soo they blocked all the Chinese IPs heh? Elist attitude is with all races and not only those that are yellow skined.
Gold spamers spam in fluent english, and so is their websites.
People that mess up in KQ is just lacking experience, it is not because of the color of their skin.

There was a whole debate few weeks ago saying that banning China IP will stop spammers...

So.. can anyone tell me if the Spammers hv vanished? coz as far as i can tell from my brief appearance on Fiesta this morning... spammers are still around... (MWAHAH i can go back to MageReq and poke him saying his solution didnt work)

And dont get me wrong, I didnt agree banning china IP to be a good solution... i guess all we can do is wait for an announcement from GM and see if it's an error or intentional block.

I wonder if you can "apply" with the GM to unblock the IP for ppl like Jack.

Applying to unblock does not seem the be to the GM's best interest as then he would have millions of letters from players that he has to sort out one by one.


I think for future reference and to stop Spammers a more detailed Application should be implemented.


And to just allow the Chinese IP users.

just saw some spammage in roumen, so not all gold spammers are from china.

It is official. The Chinese IP Addresses have been baned.

But there is still a way to bypass the IP Adress ban I think.

Ah... well... i really dont think Outspark should be called "bias, racist, discriminate" etc etc

they're not doing it coz they dont like the chinese... they just did it coz china has their own server to go to.. its like.. i've got my own pencil.. i shouldnt be using someone else's pencil just coz it looks better... and its out of my reach...

i'll share my pencil if someone else doesnt hv one... but if they've got one too they should use their own...

Unfortunately for people like jack.. they may hv to switch to using a pen... =(

Erm... Singapore is an Asian country right? So they'll block our IPs sooner or later as well?

yeah they'll probably block us when they hv a South East Asia (SEA) server?!

(Well, lets hope that they'll only block us when they've got a server for us!!!)

maybe the China Residents should be happy that they blocked them before they charged up too much SparkCash....

I just to play this other game where they block the NA (NOrth America) players from the the SEA server only after they launched a server for them...

From what I have learned from my fiends that know enough chinese to play on the SEA/China servers of Fiesta is that those servers are and have~

SparkCash shop a long time ago where everything now costs money
Monsters give only 1 exp after kills
You can only get T2 Hp pots from KQ.
Rare or good items must be brought by the SparkCash shop
Most or ALL users use bots.
All users have Bosses Items such as ZKs, KM, GGK to +9 and all armors to +9
Items below +9 are considered to be worthless

Who would want to play on such a messed up unbalanced server?

That sounds oddly like bullcrap, IMO.

that's one successful game if they still hv ppl paying them with such a bad community =/

i betcha he exaggerated and we wouldnt hv anything to prove that he's exaggerating...

Yea... people started to stop playing, I guess the chinese IPs have been banned to promote the China Server and to get the chinese people playing on the American servers to move there. They even provided a nice friendly link for us... >.<

And yea, china is a big market, especially when now MMORPGs are considered to be almost a part of everyone's everyday lifestyle. How weird eh? But please remember the Eastern countries such as, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China make up a lot of the MMORPGs and has a huge chunk of the market.

The 1 Exp thing is due to everyone playing with bots. But you could still buy experience, which I found is an utter disgrace to players playing the game.

But the chinese thought on this is, "Why waste time leveling when you could level with a bot and have fun killing other people?"

Woo hoo! Less gold spammers! This is what the Chinese get for making it very hard/not possible for us to play their game! Plus no more annoying symbols in the KQs, that they just have to keep in normal chat.

1. Do research before posting. They ARE Chinese. Nearly all of them. They admit it, too. The spamming, farming, and delivery is a JOB, in which they are paid for. Just because you speak english doesn't mean you're most likely white. You'd be amazed at how many people there speak English.

2. Not really trying to be offensive to you, but I'm prejudice at somethings. Namely evangelcals. I don't dislike all Christians (I come from a 80-90% Christian family), just the ones that wave Jesus in the faces of all. A game forum is the last damn place I want to have more Jesus thrown at me after a day at a Cristian school. Christian and proud? Good for you, but most of the rest of us don't want to know.

Yea maybe you should... Well who will be with me if they make us go to a SEA server? Oh and I think MapleSEA block out NA IP after they launched a server and now they're only letting accounts which have been created before the block to continue playing.
