New Patch?
 

Well I just got home from helping out at my friend's Haunted House and noticed Fiesta was down. I also noticed that there was a new patch and was wondering what was being added..? Does anyone know?

Cash shop.

It will be up in thirteen minutes, supposedly.

Well that kinda sucks, I got home and was about to hop onto Fiesta to get the new house from one of my guild mates but was sadly crushed by Server Down. D:

Well, there could have been a lot of technical details and problems which we may not know of, hence the long maintenance.

8 hours is long, but every game must have had some kind of an unexpected long downtime due to various problems. Don't be so hard on the game - I'm sure the technical staff had been working their hardest. =]

Keep in mind it is a free game for those who don't spend money on Cash Shop, so you can't expect too much. Fiesta is still in Open Beta, after all. If we have all the good stuff now, what are they going to update at later stages? One thing at a time... rather than everything at a time and having lots of mistakes with implementing them all.

Please note that what outspark is doing is just a market strategy. They will release items that arent as "wanted" as others and people will buy because the items they want arent there. Then they will slowly release a couple items every week or bi-weekly and people will continue to buy those items because the items they want arent there. They will release the better items later. Its done in ALOT of games with cash shops.

Hmm is it just me, or do people feel i directed things at them when i actually meant it for everyone. If i meant to tell someone, i would quote them or PM them.

I thought Nike's post was perfectly clearly meant for everyone, not just you. Are you proposing that every thread you post in, people should type something like "oh btw, this post is for everyone, not for MagesRequiem."?

As for the shop itself, it does seem like a waste atm, especially considering how long they took to release it. I personally thought they tested it in CB2 so they could have it ready for OB beginning. apparently not.

On topic, giving us everything at the same time will probably result in a lot of constant downtimes at various times anyway - which would probably make everyone more depressed. Dx And once we get everything in one time - we will probably start complaining about having nothing new soon since it would be a very long time until we get a new update. >___<"

Agreed, and besides, if there's anything for certain, it's that people will always complain. Doesn't matter how things are, someone will always be disgruntled over something.

o.0 You are? Really? You sure? 100% sure? *Sends CursedMagus for testing* As for the complaining part... It seems that people are looking for things to complain about. There's always something new popping up here and there.

The Cash Shop... blah. They could've at least given us the costumes that they had in CB. That would've been nicer... and the fact that they have the 7 day and 30 day option is a bit weird. Some poor soul is going to think the price listed is for 30 days only to find it gone in a week. Then they'll start complaining on the forums... D: Yay!

And on the side-note the zombie event... I've no idea what that was for? I guess some people actually got something out of it but most was taken by mages with the blasted AoE magic. I think they probably should've let the zombies spawn randomly in different areas so as to not have a huge group cluster at the spawn point and just AoE.
