Tricks, treats, and play all night,
Undead things within your sight,
This is the time to be who you're not,
a princess, hero, or things that rot,
Yosei is bored and just here to say,
She hopes you have a fun Halloween Day!
^o^

Or had! lol

Tadiakichi 11-01-2007 12:14 AM

Showing your Halloween spirit
Deserves much more merit
So I thank ye, little witch
For saving this holiday from the ditch
And to show all my care
Here, have a pedo-bear.

**Holy crap, I suck at scales.

Yosei 11-01-2007 12:22 AM

Why thank you my good friend,
This seems to have turned into a trend,
I appreciate your attention and care,
I lawled when I saw that pedo-bear.

(I made this pumpkin, yay Al-o-lantern

Zotius 11-01-2007 12:22 AM

Wuu nice poems. I can't write one though suck at that. But nice pedo-bear. My dad doesn't allow me to do such stuff. He says it's evil.

Hessah 11-01-2007 12:32 AM

OMG they get REAL pumpkins to play with!! we've only got the plastic ones...

that looks so cool!!

Yosei 11-01-2007 12:35 AM

You guys get fake pumpkins? ;~; How horrible!

Hessah 11-01-2007 12:40 AM

yeah i think i'll get in trouble by my mum if i start making holes in her pumpkins... HAHAHA "wat are u doing?!!!"

Yosei 11-01-2007 01:12 AM

"B-but the Americans get to carve their pumpkins!! ;~;"

Hessah 11-01-2007 01:17 AM

does pumpkin gets more expensive around halloween?

Yosei 11-01-2007 01:20 AM

They're only available around Halloween lol. Well, in most stores. I can't remember how much they are.

Spirit 11-01-2007 01:26 AM

ZOMG!!!! Hessah!! You have never carved a pumkin???????????
Yes, the BIG pumkins are only sold around Halloween and we buy them simply to carve them. They are usually only 5-10 dollars depending on the size you want, if that expensive. Then we put candles in them to light them up and see their carved faces.

Hessah 11-01-2007 01:27 AM

u mean.. u dont hv pumpkins throughout the year as 'fruit & vegie'??

EDIT:
-cries- yes we've never craved a pumkin before

ohh so u need the massive ones for halloween...

maybe i should try spend halloween in US one year to catch the festival

Not really; pumpkins aren't a big eatin squash here for the most part. I don't think I've ever eaten pumpkin aside from seeds and pie.

Halloween was really fun when I was a little kid for all the candy, and again when I was around 18-23 or so for the parties. Now though, I just walk the kids around a little and come back home.

Enrei 11-01-2007 01:54 AM

Well if you can't find a pumpkin, you can always substitute the pumpkin with a watermelon. It's not like they'll notice..

Tadiakichi 11-01-2007 01:54 AM

You dare waste a watermelon for trivial purposes? How dare you D:

Zotius 11-01-2007 01:56 AM

Hmm so now green is the new orange eh? I've also never carved a pumpkin before. Hmm... I don't even think I've touched, eaten, came in contact with a pumpkin before... Not even a plastic one.

Yosei 11-01-2007 01:58 AM

Watermelons are tastey. I'd rather eat one. Harder to eat a pumpkin.

Its really messy carving a pumpkin. You have the "guts" that are all slimey and stringy.

Awarain 11-01-2007 02:13 AM

Mmmm, I used to grow pumpkins for the kids that lived next door to me. My pumpkins never had much for squishy guts inside...usually just a few seeds.

I think I have a photo of my favorite pumpkin around here somewhere...

Okay, So he grew randomly in my garden and when his vine died out, he was still a little green...but I decided he still deserved to be carved...

Binkie couldn't seem to sit up straight on his own, so he sat on a tape roll...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5.../binkiemug.jpg

But he was the perfect shape for a skelly face!

Zotius 11-01-2007 02:14 AM

Nice. You named your pumpkin o.0

Hessah 11-01-2007 02:18 AM

oopz i just realised i've been spelling pumpkin wrong along XD

pumpkin is often roasted, and we eat it with roast beef and stuf.. (together with potatos, peas, carrots)

WOW that's a huge pumpkin!! nice poto of the skeleton~...

and erm.. a watermelon... i can imagine how messy that's gonna get! juicy everywhere~

@pritcher: arent u suppose to make the day as much fun as u had for ur kids? keke

>.< Not usually...just when a random deformed pumpkin decides its okay to grow in the middle of tomatoes! It didn't even really turn orange...it just kinda...gave up. Hahaha and you can see all the squirrel bites on him too. Poor thing. =P

If you name em, you remember them later.

CursedMagus 11-01-2007 02:25 AM

I pity you Hessah. Carving a Pumpkin is one of the most enjoyable things to do around this time of year. Well, when your entire family gets into the spirit that is. Trick-or-Treating is awesome, hopefully I can talk some of my friends into doing it (once I move back to my hometown that is). Or we can just throw a Halloween gaming party or something. Dress up, eat Pizza, play games, and scare little kids. Could life get any sweeter than that?

Well they aren't my kids, they're nieces and nephews, I just go out for a little while with them and do a couple rounds of houses in the neighborhood. Their parents gotta do more. That's the cool thing about being an uncle, you get to pick and choose how much you want to deal with the kids. Parents are stuck with em :p

Zotius 11-01-2007 02:31 AM

Agreed. But I like being a kid. Much more fun than being adults. Except for the study part. But we still get to play computer in school as we have 1 each. But yea I wish I could try carving a pumpkin. My dad says it's demonic and doesn't let us have anything to do with halloween.

Hessah 11-01-2007 02:34 AM

Ohhhh HAHAH and u get to the the "cool uncle" that says yes to everything and their parents can say the "no's" kekeke

i think for us.. we do the "fun" stuff in xmas... that's when we hv our big family gatherings... we still dont get the crave pumpkins though... -bummer-

it sounds like we're missing a lot of fun... but hmmm i dunno if i really want it introduced here though... haha (although commercially they're starting to sell witch hats, and fake pumpkins, and devil forks...)

but i'd love to go overseas to experience their festivals...

Happy Harroween. 8D

Hessah 11-01-2007 02:38 AM

just like u yosei.. i'm easily amused...

but yeah many of us doesnt even know when halloween's exact date is... let alone celebrate it LOL

Zotius 11-01-2007 02:44 AM

Yea err Hessah you know carve is spelt carve right? Crave is where you want something real bad?

CursedMagus 11-01-2007 02:48 AM

Actually people such as myself practically worship Halloween. Its THE greatest holiday ever made. Besides, whats better than eating a ton of candy and letting your teeth rot?

Hessah 11-01-2007 03:52 AM

HAHAHAH thx for the correction... i hv a craving for pumpkins... i shall carve pumpkins next year....

Zotius 11-01-2007 04:13 AM

I guess Harroween will remain a mystery until the day I die. Maybe even after the day I die.

Lady-Loki 11-01-2007 04:16 AM

Hmmm . . .
