Average Age?
 

Out of curiosity, I'm wondering how old the average Fiesta player is? I'm 28 (which I'm guessing is old by comparison), and was surprised to fild my guild master is only 12 and most of the members are about the same age. Are there any other old gamers out there?

theres two or three people in my guild thats over 20 (that I know of) but the majority is still in there teen years.

Most players are mid teens to mid 20s, but there are players around your age. Just gotta find them lol.

Yeah we've got some older players... I'm 25 myself.. but I've met a few that's 35~40+

we wouldnt make up the majority but there are older players out there.. in fact, I believe there was once upon a time a thread on the Official forum for all the "oldies" and there's actually quite a lot of age 35+ players out there..

Oh trust me, that I know. I have blown what I would consider to be rediculous amounts on sparkcash, considering it's f2p. But I think our ability to fund ourselves without having to borrow a parents credit card has a huge effect on that.

LOL exactly! We earn the money ourselves so, no one should tell us how to spend our money...

though I hit myself if I spend more than $10ish a month.. (back when I still play)

People tend to say I'm around 10 years older than I actually am.

Age can be extremely misleading.

I often wanna know people's age just to see if they're in school/college/work...

I think in game maturity really has nothing to do with age. Like I said, I was shocked to find out my guild master was only twelve. With the way he runs the guild I figured he would be older. Most if the younger players I've met act (in game anyway) far more mature than I thought they would be at their age.

I think my biggest questions when it comes to older players are: how many have children that also play? And how do you manage your play time?

The only reason I'm on so much is because I'm out of work and separated, so I have nothing but time on my hands, but if you've got a family and work, how do you manage to get in there and grind off a "quick" 2.4 million exp? Before my separation, when I was a full time daddy, I was lucky if I got an hour in and I usually had to squeeze it in around 2 am between feedings.

My kid games when he comes over to my place (his mom is anti-gaming). Generally, we play together. He's played some MMOs like Fiesta, but he prefers RTS. We play the hell out of WC3 and Rise of Nations. I'm trying to get him into Civ4, but he hasn't liked it yet.

My problem is how the hell do I keep my daughter off of my computer and on her's when we both want to play. She's 13, and for once I have the better computer after I spurged on myself for once this year. Being divorced helps, but I still end up playing after midnight on many occasions to spend more time with my little devil.

Yeah I've always wondered how those mums and dads find time to play games...

Let's see, I started playing about 2 years ago while my soon to be ex was still pregnant, so no kids at home yet. I was working full time, but I got in about 2-4 hours a night. I stopped playing for about 4 months after my son was born, and started up again when I was laid off and became a full time daddy, but even then I only played about 2-3 hours a night (if at all) and that was after the wife and baby went to bed. After gaming, I was averaging about 2 hours of sleep a night. Now all I do is look for work and play, since I only get to have my son 1 or 2 days a week.

but ive met ppl from 10-50 years

Hmm most of my guild is around 20, but we still got young peeps here too. What I've been doing and what would probably do if I had kids would be let them play only 2-3hrs (just a charm) thats it. It's worked great for me. Most of the day I'm busy with school,work, or friends but I always manage to squeeze 2 hrs a day for a charm and kite. Getting 8-10% a day Ill cap by x-mas.

If you wanna find older players to talk to in-game and on vent hit me up when you get to 70 and see if we can get you into my guild.

I'm 21..............now i have a Question? Is there anyone else out there that is in the Military and play's Fiesta?

I am currently active duty in the United States Air Force, and i am doing a 3 year tour in Korea, which i started about 3 months ago.

Just curious if i got some brother's in arm's playing this game.

I'm 15. Most people I talk to from Fiesta/FF(As in on vent or msn or facebook) range from 11-20's(Maybe 30's). But on FF it ranges from 11-40+ probably xD

LOL thats good i didn't want to be the only one in the military playing this game......but none the less it is a awesome game and it keep's me busy while in korea.....and its fun to play while im Obliterated!!! AKA: (Drunk) :P
