In the process of making my lovely godly fuse pet... my pet turned into this.

Nope... when you go through the process of melding pets you have no idea what it will mutate into. T___T

Pet fuses have a random chance of mutating.

If you have pet X, and you keep melding pet type Y into it, it will apparently only alternate between 3 or so forms. Melding Y into Y can go totally random, however. My experience is limited, but 30+ data samples were collected, so it can be assumed statistically significant.

I really need to find time to get back to that game. -sigh-

Meld 10 has a high chance of mutation... at least it didn't mutate into Elementa or Mechen. Those have horrible max HP growth.

Yes, yes you should get back into the game. Although I'm just possessoring 90% of the time leveling these pets.

Mutate doesn't affect HP growth. It just adds up from the base.

I used your old Erugon Mauler "Sky" for Season's fuse pet, and it was Humanoid. It mutated into a Feisty Whelp, but still kept the Humanoid HP growth.

But you do know that the Erugan Mauler is a humanoid right? 8D

But someone quit because of it... was rather epic but yeah. Person used to be the top player in the game but lag + whatever else made her lose her ultimate pet so bye-bye game.

There's an item that prevents mutation but apparently it lagged and the meld went ahead without using it so.. .that's what happened. This is all word of mouth but she was complaining how PWE didn't return her White Dragon, etc. Which none were their fault to begin with anyway. And really, if she didn't have such a stuck up attitude people would've felt sorry but nope.

Melding helps to make your pet better so that's why people do it. When fused with one during battle it takes half the damage your receive. And people also try to max out INT/STR on these pets so they can help kill mobs faster...

Sorry for being a bit off topic but what game is it :3 looks sweet :D
