-Night Zero-

Silently, rain pattered on the streets of Roumen. the salty sea air slowly drifted into blahh's nostrils. Standing on the edge of the port, she stared out at the sea; Ah, how she loved the wet air, the soft sounds, the call of the seagulls.

She was alone, but at the same time, she wasnt. Almost as if the sea was a friend, calling softly to her.

She was considering heading home, but she never got the chance to fully finish that thought. Soon, a pain interrupted her. A sharp knife ruptured the skin in her back. She started to lose her balance; to fall into the sea.

Before she fell off, she turned around. The faces that greeted her were familiar. The faces of friends. She let out a scream that pierced the still air as she fell into the sea that she loved so much. 3 Sadistic grins stared down upon her.

This was going to be fun.

Blahhs, a human, has been murdered.

-Day One-

They found blahh's blood spread over the pier. it was everywhere. As if someone had literally painted the town red.

Tears covered everyone's face. But they knew what they had to do. they heard about stuff like this happening in Elderine, which was now a ghost town, and they werent gonna let it happen here.

No one had a clue on who to vote for, so they agreed that the votes were going to be spread out.

...Which is why Manzcar was crying when they tightened the cinder blocks around his feet. He screamed, pleading for his life and swearing allegiance to the humans of Roumen. His voice ripped through his throat as he screamed that he was their friend, they knew him, asking why they had betrayed him, oh why had they betrayed him?

He soon ran out of water and began crying tears of blood. coughing it up too, from screaming so hard.

But it was of no use. Several others were dumbfounded at Manz's persecution as well. But there was nothing they could do.

His screams were of no use.

Bubbles sprang up as he drifted quietly to the bottom of the sea. His friends cried heavily. His persecutors watched intently, hoping for the water to darken, a sign of a dark spirit having died.

But the tears continued to flow. The only thing that clouded up the water was his blood.

The humans have killed Manzcar, a human.

-Night One-

Darkness filled the streets, illuminated by only moonlight. Destrus knew these streets. loved them. He slowly walked by the houses; robin's, Julia's potionshop, rumenous's mansion... he loved these streets. they were familiar and inviting.

It was a fitting way to end, then. His throat was slit quietly. He didnt scream; he barely even knew he was dying before it had happened.

Sadistic laughter followed once again. Ah, the joy of the kill.

Destrus was a human. He is now roadkill.

-Day Two-

The humans were in a panicky disorder. No one could agree on anything. Luckily for them, when the dust settled, a clear majority was there.

As esen stepped up to the edge of the sea, weights tied to her in several places, she cried hysterically. She never could've seen this death coming; she thought she had been concealing it so well... as she descended into the murky abyss, the waters washed away her fake body; a black burst of mist filled the water. as it escaped to the top, humans took note. They would celebrate today with a feast.

Night Two

Jackaroo sat on his roof, staring out at the night sky. The cold, brilliant air flew through his hair. He silently sang to himself; the song was a lullaby his mother used to sing to him.

He knew it was dangerous to be out, but this was something he needed. Healing for the soul.

He stood up, ready to get back into his house, but as he turned, he saw 2 black hooded figures standing in front of him. one lunged at him with a knife, and he quickly attempted to grab it from his or her hand. They wrestled for control, until Jackaroo fell off the roof; His last thoughts were of the wind, its cold brilliance, and the stars.

He fell with a strange mixture of a thud and a crack. His death was swift. his blood flowed softly from the crack in his skull.

The Legals have murdered Jackaroo, a Human.

Day Three

This time, the humans had regained their composure. there would be no panic.

Jeers and Screams filled the air; tomatos flew; Fighterboy was standing at the edge of the water, and all knew that they HAD to succeed this time.

He let out a roar of rage, and then was pushed into the water; once again a dark aura filled the air.

Fighterboy has died. He was a legel.

Night 3

Kirby was walking home quietly. He had just picked up some groceries from his Uncle for his mother. The moon was shining softly upon him.

A few minutes later, the melons, fruit, and other assorted products he had picked up rolled through the street, mingling with his blood.

Another human was killed.

Day Four

Today was different from the previous three. it was bright; the sun was shining.The birds were singing. The air was warm, and all seemed to be well.

The vote came in; a clear majority called for Ivra to be killed.

The humans had abandoned the cruel practice of throwing people into the bay. Instead, an archer would shoot an arrow into the target's head, killing them instantly.

Ivra stood on the podium; his face was stoic. The humans watched, also stoic, tense.

The arrow was drawn. The archer looked nervous. He pulled back on the string; released.

Ivra began to fall off the platform; just barely tilting forward.

Then, a laugh pierced the air, and he exploded into confetti. a strong wind blew from him, and his laughs surrounded the whole town.

The sun went dark, the air got cold, and the birds flew away.

The humans knew they had made a mistake.

You have killed Ivramire, the Phino.

Soon after, the remaining villagers went back to Lightningmystix's house. she hadnt attended the council and execution. They were worried about her; she hadnt been there the day before either.

As they entered her house, there was something not right. They found her slumped over some notes; Something or other about investigating certain posts of certain people. She had died of a heart attack.

Lightning, the Elemental Helper Remi, Has died.

Night Four

Lirange was lying in bed. it had gotten too dangerous to leave the house.

He stared at the ceiling, thinking of all his friends who had died, trying to sort everything out in his head. trying to figure out why his former friends, Jackaroo and Esen had killed them. he needed to know why...

There wasnt time to finish that thought. A crash emerged from his window. He stood up.

There was only one person there; holding a knife and approaching him. He knew their face immediately and began fighting with them for control of the knife. He couldnt keep his hold for too long, though, and he was pushed down and savagely stabbed to death.

Neighbors arrived after the legel had left. their eyes filled with tears after they learned what had happened to him.

At this point, for them, it wasnt for a lost friend. Just for an increased chance of their own death.

Lirange, another human, is dead.

Day Five

It was over. Roumen was empty; desolate.

Hessah grinned. She recalled the arrow hitting the back of secbro's head. the screams of Kayla and Helion as they realized what they had done, and as their throats were ripped out, never to scream again. They were the last warriors in elderine, and the slaughter was open.

The legel smiled one last time, letting out an evil laugh, quite different from its brothers and sisters that had famously reclaimed elderine and made the humans pay for their atrocities. This legel wasnt a vigilante hero. No.

It was killing for the thrill.

The dark aura slowly faded from Hessah's body, as she slowly regained control of her mind. She looked around. Saw the blood; the gore; the dead bodies everywhere. She regained her memory of what she had done. crying tears that mingled with her blood soaked face, she picked up the dagger that the legel had left in front of her.

She walked to her sister's grave.

There, the last blood in Roumen was shed.
