Computer Specs?

If your in the Closed Beta, I'm just wondering. Do you really need a high-end graphic card to run this game? If you don't reply with what graphic card your using. Which is probably an Integrated Intel Graphics... blah blah.

NavMan 06-29-2007 12:20 AM

I'm using a 64MB Geforce2 Ti, a really old card. I'm doing fine on 1280x1024 resolution, the only lag (graphics wise) I get is in the main town where there's tons of people.

ChaosTassadar 06-29-2007 01:24 AM

NavMan has a worse graphics card then me, i think, but i run it with a geforce 4 mx440, 128mb, agp x8 (my mobo is running it on a x4 though, lol), and i can run the game with relatively little lag at 1024x768(not sure about the second number...) in towns i get a little graphics lag, but i think some of it may be from my processor as well (p4 1.3ghz) which is one of the oldest p4's, lol...

It really depends what ur definition of "high-end" is. You wont need a geforce 8800gtx to run this game on full graphics settings (not to mention ur cpu wont be fast enough for this card to perform great most likely anyway). An integrated card on lower end PC's may be able to run the game fine under low settings and normal conditions. Any geforce 5 series or higher can rn this game fine i believe, not sure what the ATI equivalent is though. However, if u happen to have a pci-e port on ur computer and want to upgrade, u can get a fairly nice graphics card for fairly cheap and experience a noticeable improvement.

forgotten86 06-29-2007 11:45 AM

wow on max ^^ never thought it can go that far

NavMan 06-29-2007 12:06 PM

Well it SHOULD be, as long as your processor and memory is up to scratch.

LUCKY, I only got the lame Intel Integrated Graphics but it runs MEDIUM on most games. Sometimes I have to play on low setting, I dont play a game if it's really "choppy" on medium on my computer. :) Rappels from gpotato was terribly laggy on my computer, well it was 3d intensive but Trickster works fine too. I CANT WAIT TO PLAY THIS GAME!!!!!

Chaos_Blader 06-30-2007 05:10 PM

Well I have a Geforce 6600 With Turbo Cache, and with all the graphic settings et to the max (1280x1024) I run it fine.

Belaslav 06-30-2007 08:15 PM

I use ATI Radeon 9550 Catalyst. The only problem is that I can't run the game in my default resolution (1280x1024). Every time I try after 5~20 mins the game crashes. So I'm stuck with 1024x768.

I have a Geforce 7600 GS and everything runs smoothly until I tried an event when everything went down to about 1 or 2 frames a second and I couldnt even move.

PRess Shift-Z

or Ctrl-Z

one of those.
It gets rid of all other player models so you can attack and run around smoothly

Really? That would be a lifesaver for those events. There would be times where the FPS would go down so low that I couldn't even move an inch...
