I'm entering a contest on deviantart.com, for a movie poster, and the theme is "What is love?".. not the song lol.

But what is love to you?

Be mature. But it doesn't have to be the kind between a boy and a girl, or a boy and a boy, or a girl and a girl, etc, you guys get it. It could be laying in your room reading a book or drawing, or... hanging out with your friends. What do you love most?

It's a chemical imbalance.

A comforting hug that says "I'm here, it's OK"

A deep spiritual connection between two people. Something that even the worst of experiences cant completely erode. True love, to me, is a wonderous magic that fills the spirit and makes the world seem a bit more sane.

It can be shown through anything from a kiss and a hug, to a simple, comforting handholding.

if i had to summarize what it is in an act, to me it's simply standing beside someone when no one else will.

Love is...

...when silence is just as comfortable.
...when you smile even though you were angry.
...when your heart feels light.

I think I like the way you put it.

I like many things.
 

I have many hobbies, just like shopping with friends, watching movies , play PC games, eating delicious food, go out with friends........, so many, I am an energetic person ,i like to enjoy life, although sometimes i feel upset.

Love is hard to describe. Personally, I would say the connection between two people, that is far more potent than a normal relationship

Whoa!!! Where do i start ^_^.
I fell like love is a special bond between two people.
That no matter where the two may be they feel the presence of the other.
They live for the other and they are their everything too them.
Everytime they are around the other person they get butterflies and feel like its the first time they met.
Everytime they kiss it feels like the first one and even better than the last.

I think love is a great thing to feel, especially if its towards another human being.

Love falls out of the realm of words. It's a human habit to try to demarcate the concept which is supposed to have no boundaries.

With that said, I like this proverb:

Absence is to love what wind is to fire. It inflames the great; it extinguishes the small.
