how?

ok, since recently ive been super bored cuz my internet is hella gay and lags whenever I play online games. Now im drawing cartoony ppl or friends, loveless seen one, but once I scan it, it turns out all weird and yellow until it gets cleaned, like how ppl who cleans newly scanned manga. Anyone know a free(no work yet so i cant afford to buy photoshop and stuff :/) way to clean the pic so I don't have to bother loveless or any other ppl to help me do it?

I will check out GIMP and let you know.

If you had Photoshop you would use Levels to adjust the black/white... if not, you can bug me, lol.

Moved to Art Gallery. :p

new how?: how do I draw over my sketch with Photoshop in sharpie marker like how I draw over with a marker?

Lirange 07-12-2009 06:19 AM

hm, what?
can you explain it a little better?
don't quite get the question

Umbro 07-12-2009 02:35 PM

also do you think we could see what exactly it is you're scanning?

Loveless 07-12-2009 04:32 PM

If you want to draw over your image in Photoshop... don't take a sharpie to the monitor for one thing.

In your layers palette there's a button at the corner that looks like a page with a bent corner. It's a New Layers button. Click that and you'll get a new transparent layer above your image. It's like a tracing paper... so you can draw on it but it won't affect your original image.

Then press B which is the brush tool, select what type of brush you want from the top and draw over it.
