I want a..

tattoo on my left wrist >__>

Hraesvelg 07-08-2009 08:22 AM

Why?

A_Forever 07-08-2009 08:25 AM

I just do.

Ralath 07-08-2009 08:29 AM

I actually want one there too. My friend has one. It's in this skin colored ink so it's pretty light and you probably wouldn't see it if you weren't looking for it.

I heard that once you get one, you can't stop getting them... o_o

A_Forever 07-08-2009 08:33 AM

I mean like the underside of my wrist. Not where like.. a watch rests.

Ralath 07-08-2009 08:36 AM

No, I knew exactly where you mean. That's where I would get mine if I got it. Except there's a pretty big artery and tendon thing there which is the only scary part of having a needle poke there.

A_Forever 07-08-2009 08:42 AM

True. Thats what I thought of when I first said I wanted one there.

I've wanted one there for a while xD Just.. I really really want one there now.

You have to be 18 to get one though, don't you? Unless you have a parent there with you or some crap.

iDerrick 07-08-2009 09:38 AM

You should get a tattoo of a watch on your wrist. Hahaha.

A_Forever 07-08-2009 09:38 AM

Lame.

I've never understood why people would want a tattoo. Its permanent. It will be there for the rest of your life. Making that kind of decision at such a young age seems kinda reckless to me.

But its your body, do what you will

Destrus 07-08-2009 05:35 PM

i don't think i can convince myself ot get a tattoo. needles are not my friend.

0_o SceneQueen o_0 07-08-2009 06:16 PM

Well also you dont wanna be 50 and look at the tattoo and it'll be all green looking from the ink being there so long....

But as secbro said before it's your body :uhoh::cutielove:

Meh. Its my left wrist. Half the time, you can't even see it. xD

I wouldn't get anything childish nor x-rated or anything. Just.. maybe a small word with like.. small vines around it or something.

Wouldn't be very big.

Ralath 07-09-2009 02:21 AM

I wouldn't get it in black. At least, I don't think I would get it in black. And if I did, it would be pretty small and discrete.

Hyper 07-09-2009 02:26 AM

Fold a paperclip to the shape you want, heat it until its burning hot (or prick yourself a ton with a needle to form the shape if you'd rather not deal with burns). Cut a ballpoint pen in half, then blow on the other side and push some ink onto a small piece of paper. Smear the ink around on the paper until its about the size of what you want to tattoo, then spread it on your open wound. Just make sure the ink isn't from India, since Indian ink is notorious for having bacteria and causing infections.

Oh, and don't try it with coloured ink, since it will sometimes look odd. I recommend black.

kirbysprite 07-09-2009 02:29 AM

Ew...Tattoos. What did my health teacher say about this? I think he said something about attention, but whatever. Just my comment about tattoos.

Do whatever you want to your body, it's not like we'll actually meet in person, then I'll think of you differently...

LOL, don't like tattoos?

kirbysprite 07-09-2009 02:55 AM

I guess. I mean, what do they show? Why have one? Besides some people will respect you less when you have a tattoo. It'll probably be harder to get a job when you have a visible tattoo.

Lirange 07-09-2009 03:06 AM

i want a tattoo
but i don't like how it looks when your an elder

Ralath 07-09-2009 03:07 AM

That's why you get a small and discrete one.

I think the only tattoos you're thinking of are biker or tattoo artist tattoos, which are a little too much for me...

Hraesvelg 07-09-2009 03:26 AM

I can't stop laughing, now that I'm thinking about 70 year olds with tramp stamps.

If they really are tramps, they probably won't make it to 70, so you have nothing to fear.

Loveless 07-09-2009 03:37 AM

Though it seems like a good idea at the time...

You might end up like the girl who wanted to get 3 small stars tattooed to her face, supposedly fell asleep and woke up with 53 stars all over her face.

Ralath 07-09-2009 03:38 AM

omg i saw that.

Obviously, don't go to a sketchy tattoo parlor.

Lirange 07-09-2009 03:44 AM

i'm pretty sure she was lying
a tattoo hurts, and especially on your face?
how can you fall asleep like that?

Zwivix 07-09-2009 03:48 AM

Oh ya go for it liz!!! Ask for the kool kids discount....

Hessah 07-09-2009 03:51 AM

Yeah I think that girl with 53 stars is lying too... at first I thought there was a language communication problem there but i dunno he said he's willing to pay for half the lazer coz to remove those stars...

If you're gonna choose a word or something... of another language.. please google and check the meaning before you let them tattoo it on... I've seen a few articles where the tattoo artist actually have no idea wat the word means and lies about it....

O.o i remember that post too....

a.L 07-09-2009 03:53 AM

She initially wanted all the stars but her father didn't approve, so she made up a story. So they say.

A_Forever 07-09-2009 03:54 AM

Mine would be discrete...

/end

no, her falling asleep was a lie
she was just going to get 3 star tattooed on her eye, so her father left, and after awhile he came back and she had 56stars on her, and she knew she was going to get in trouble so she said she fell asleep and yea.

Her story:
I wanted 3 little stars, fell asleep, woke up, found him tattooing 53 stars on my face.

His story:
She wanted 53 stars, never fell asleep, walked out, saw her dad (and bro?) they didn't like it, came back and made up story.

Hyper 07-09-2009 04:02 AM

No one falls asleep while getting a tattoo. -_-
