Epic Fail, Robo KQ
 

OMG! No1 told me it was going to be that hard.
2 minutes into that game and i was dead at least once and about to die again.
Idk maybe it was a bad group of ppl, or maybe it was the lack of clerics, either way. IT WENT TERRIBLE!!!

Looks like i'm sticking to grinding and quests until i get to at least 42!! Cuz jeezez that was a slaughter...:hulksmash:

Yeah.. it's really easy to die as a mage. xD I know failure rates were pretty high for Robo a while ago, though I don't know if it improved.

I'd say you could try again, and make sure to stay out of the way... but, that's often hard to do as a mage, especially when you get killed in 2 hits xD hahaha~

Though I hope you could at least complete your Robo KQ quests!

They are still bad. I usually get into ones that aren't complete. I once solo'd Robo. I don't like Robo. I especially don't like it if you lag in Robo, so like the first 3 minutes, you're already dead.

I waited till I could get gears with END...or atleast till your higher lvl...yeah...expet dieing alot as a mage when your in a Robo kq...xD

OMG yeah!! there is no point if you scroll up and buffed up only to die of lag >_>

Okay maybe they were tears of sadness but either way, liquid came out of my eyes.:laugh:

The first time I did that kq I was a mage also!! The creepy imps killed me really fast, so yeahhh.....xD


There was this one time a lot of lvl 4x's (including me) were in Robo but everyone died in like 10 minutes lol. Maybe we were over-confident? LOL

After i died the first time it seemed everything was able to ohko me :cries:
But fear is not knowing. So i've read up on this infamous KQ and learned the basics from the Wiki. Ty FF:laugh:

Robo never really bothered me. Nor did most of the KQ's I've done so far.

King Slime: It's pretty hard to fail this one, I never did on my current character.
Mara: This one has gotten pretty consistent as well, didn't fail it either.
Gold Hill: Same thing here, failed once due to not finding the key though!
Robo: As long as you bring a T2 or higher speed scroll you should be able to solo it!
Honeying: Get the quests done but don't expect to ever win.
MD: YOU REALIZE YOU SHOULD WIN BUT STUPID PEOPLE FAIL IT ALL THE DANG TIME.

At least you dont waste too much time when the KQ finishes in 5 mins... those where u spent 20 mins in only to have it failed after you used tonnes of pots are even worse...


@ T6 - OMG i failed a Gold Hill once due to the horrible group that didnt work together.. I thought.. hey all you need is a tank, and a cleric, and it almost doesnt matter wat every else does.. but there was this KQ that i had.. NO ONE could tank, all teh clerics ran away (to where I dunno), it failed miserably..

You can solo Robo? So someone can take all those monster by themselves by running?

I have on my fighter. If you have enough pots and stones and are lucky with the mob spawning you can. You also need to be able to handle the spike damage. T1 speed scrolls don't do it. T2+ will allow you do gain distance on the enemy eliminating damage for the most part.

Well unfortunate for me i'm not exactly the wealthy person out there to be able to make or buy those scrolls.:cries:
So i guess i'll just have to start working on my production skills. :nahnah:

Sounds like some bad luck, my Mage just got out of the Robo levels and is into MD now. One thing as a mage, and much ealier on my archer, I usually don't ask for a party till several minutes into it. If I do get a party right away and see a good tank without cleric support I offer my place to them. Often not many in the mid 40's doing the KQ, but the best ones I've seen are when a good 40 something fighter gets a good cleric or 2 backing him and mocks away. When that happens as a mage I glue myself to his a-- and start aoe'ing as soon as I see the mock. Otherwise only attack things already damaged, especially at the lower level end.

Also when you get around the 40's don't be afraid to solo the vivi's. (with plenty of hp stones/potions of course) As a mage you're magic defense is better against them than most fighters that they can mow down fast.

Generally best to avoid the KQ on weekends it seems to me too. Seems to be more idiots in them then. But that might just be my server or the current batch going thru it.

I havn't been in any fails yet on cypion im just coming to the end of MD now soon hitting 60, so spider time and yay T3 mats for my scroll making :D

But yea robo deff soloable especially with a nice cleric buff and some t3 scrolls in ur inv :D
