I got my ears pierced today.
|
Hoooray!!! =D
|
My ears aren't pierced. My mom wanted to do it when I was a baby and my dad said no.
I never got around to it since then. 8D Earrings just.. don't go with me. O_o |
Yeah I'm a no earring person too..
tried on those.. magnetic ones once and it looks so out of place O_O but cool! Did it hurt? did they make u put an ice pack on it first and stuff? |
Nope, but then again, it was filled with scar tissue (backs being to small, long story D: ) and so I didn't feel a thing.
But my earrings are little silver flowers with a sapphire in the middles. o: the flowers look like... .......O ....O O O .....O O |
i got my ears pierced in 4th grade, but i was only obsessed with earring for about 2 months XD then i stopped putting them in and the holes are gone now o:
|
When I was in the 3rd grade, I had a dream I got my ears pierced and it was all painless and awesome. So when I woke up, I told my mom I wanted my ears pierced.
It hurt like a mofo. I got it done at Claires, and the chick screwed up the back somehow, but it took forever to get the earring off, somehow it was jammed. Now they're closed up. |
Kool! I got my Eyebrows Peirced!
|
... I've gotten my ears pierced 3 times total... each time they did a crap-ass job and I had to seal them. D:
So, no more for me... but I've always wanted those cool looking earrings... :s |
get a belly button pierce;D
|
DD: @ the messed jobs
I only got my ears pierced twice. The first time in 3rd grade it lead to an infection because I didn't wear real gold earrings? (That's the usual reason right?) So we waited a couple of years and did it again. The second time, it was really painful, and I wasn't expecting the pain since it didn't hurt the first time. I guess it was cause they were not done healing? o-o Anyways, that one lead to a worst infection so... Yeah. No pierced ears for me. We were careful the second time though, not sure what lead to my infection. Some earrings are very pretty though. Yours sounds cute Pebbles~ |

Get both pierced then like Brian Joo.
|
You know my health teacher got his ears pierced, both actually. He doesn't wear them anymore since like 10 years, because someone went up to him and ask:
"You swing?" After that, we took them off, and never wore them again. |
Lulz.

I got my ears pieced when I was 11 (1967 - way before most of you were born).
Back then we did it ourselves with a sewing needle, cotton thread & a raw potato. We used the larger needles in a pack so that we could get three or four strands of thread through the eye of the needle. We would numb the ear lobe with ice. We cut the raw potato in half and put the cut side of one half against the back of the ear lobe and then stick the threaded needle through the ear lobe and into the potato and then pull it on through by backing the potato away from the lobe. Once we had the needle through we just tied the threads into a loop and twice a day we would soak the thread with rubbing alcohol and pull the threads so they moved a little at a time. We kept that up for two or three weeks until the ears were healed a bit and then we switched to regular earrings. My ears are still pierced even though I may go for weeks or months without wearing earrings at all. |
Sounds painful.

wow with a needle?!
What if.. you cant pierce the needle through the ear in 1 go!? O_O |
Dunno. Guess at that age we had the strength to push that needle hard enough to get it to go through without any problems.
Of course the reason for the potato is because once you get the needle to extend out the back you had a hard time grabbing the pointed end and actually pulling it on through - one because it is tapered to the point and additionally it was now moist and harder to hold but once you got it stuck into the potato it was hard to get out of the potato so the potato would pull it on through. |
ohh... i dont think i would let anyone do that to me xD
