It's been a while since I acquired the above; finally some changes. I'm currently working on it in my free time. Suggestions are welcome. (Please be pragmatic about it) I intended to automate certain inputs to the wiki by injecting directly into the wiki's database - if you have a good idea of how best to script that, let me know! There is something you can do now, which is to keep the monster locations up to date (Input pop up window -> Monster Map and follow instructions). Inform me of any mistakes. Known issues: javascript is no-workie in IE. Works well in Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Safari. Not sure why, but I won't try to find out. Firefox, Chrome, and Safari all support CSS 3, so it is recommended you use one of them if you want to see the black box ;D Safari turns out to be superior in smoothing out the response times of translating divs. 17.12.2009 Added production skills and quests 18.6.2009 Icon display; skill costs input 17.6.2009 Skills lists by class; individual skill lists with hover-over displays 16.6.2009 Monsters lookup; editing locations based on map; license information |
ooo that's nifty~
But.. what's the map thing? D: Is there actually maps there, or do they link to the maps in Wiki or something? I was playing around and got to select monsters, but it had add/remove stuff and I didn't do anything since.. I didn't wanna muck anything up haha. |
Apparently the javascript I used fails to work in IE, so that may explain some of the problems.
http://www.mozilla.com/img/tignish/f...utton-beta.png After choosing a map, you'll have a long list (21 kB) of monsters. Choose one and click on Add to/remove from button. If it isn't already on the list it will be added to it, and if it is on the list it will be removed from it. The records there are reflected in the monster lookup, so if a monster is added to a map, this location information will be displayed on its lookup (click on the names in the popup window from >Monsters<). |
oh its cool

That's cool, hopefully I remember to help add things if needed after my exams o: |
Um, maybe you can change the background or maybe the font cause my poor eyes can't tell what it says @.@
|
I luckilly have firefox
|
whoaa!!!! thats nifty, xD
it helps a bunch really o.o can't stop using it.... |
lol yeah i just keep using it all the time
|
though all and all, its a great thing, the only thing you need to do is make it where you can see the info of the item.... and add quest. If you do then that could probably become a great part of the wiki.
Oh yeah, just to ask, do we (OS Fiesta Online Community) get Break, Wrath, Weaken, Extinguish, Toughness, Nature's Aim, Spirit Tab, or Ring Shield? |
Hi, if you cannot see the background to the text, you might wish to consider obtaining the newest version of Firefox (3.5) or Google Chrome or Apple's Safari browser. Unfortunately Internet Explorer does not support CSS3. Items will be done in some time.
These functions are not part of the wiki (they operate in totally different ways); they're complimentary. Regarding some of the skills that are hardcoded in the game (even translated!), they probably won't be available at any time. |
How'd you get the empowerments for those skills without... actually having those skills...?

I wish we could get those skills, it would make my cleric happy :cries: Quote:
edit: just to ask, what is that random creature in the level 120's that has 7000 hp (??????? ??L??) |
Curious, isn't it. I should make changes to the filter. One of the many artefacts left behind by shoddy localisation work. Not by me :)
|
o.o
some of those skills would have been awesome. :cries: I give you props. |
The empowerment is not hard coded but part of the files on your computer. This is set up the same as the Server so that the game can access your file to fill in the results from the server without having to use the server to tell you what to display. In the files on your computer everything that you see while playing the game is listed. These files are only used to show you the game, they do not control the game itself just your vision of the game.
If it was hard coded it would be a lot harder to obtain that information and also would cause the game to be very laggy having to search the server every time you see something. |
You might want to go back and fix somethings cause Recovering Blow (a Gladiator move) is added in with Recover (a Paladin move). Just go to Skills, Cleric and go down to Recover.

Hello!
As a break from my study, I updated the existing tables and added a few more tables.
If you do use the facility in concern, please feel free to give feedback here. Suggestions and error notifications are most welcome (simple ones are quickest to implement!) |
