and it's supposed to be able to. verizon's disk even had the modem drivers for it on it. BUT apparently the phone doesn't come set up for it. i did find a site that tells me how to set it up but i'm afraid to do it since i have to actually change stuff to do it. don't want them going berserk trying to charge us cause of it:cries:

umm... well... fuck... the username and pass it told me to use worked without changing those settings. it connected. i don't know if anything went through though. i definately hope not. i disconnected as soon as i noticed.

ok at least i know a full MB couldn't have transfered in that time. a MB is like $2.00 but i'm supposed to have unlimited data but my mother says they have charged me for data before so i need to fight that battle first

i still don't get why they don't advertise all their 3g capable phones as 3g capable (this goes for at&t or whatever to) but only focus on one phone.

granted i haven't really watched tv in a while but last time all i saw being advertised as 3g capable was the iphone and the new blackberry

I dont need internet for my phone I just use my PSP and use any unprotected connection.

All I need is unlimited txt and maybe 450min a month and Im set.

Be careful. Even if you have an "unlimited" plan, they will impose limits and high fees unless your plan specifically covers tethering.

i do know that they charge $2/MB though. however my phone says i've transfered over 200MB and i definately haven't been charged $400.

also their actual internet plans are freaking expensive. $40 for 50MB, $0.50 per after that D:
