Ugh...
It's true... this is just a small sample of what it probably will be like in the industry.
Another day/night without sleep. Woot. Hopefully I won't sleep past my stop again. |
=[
|
Sleep pls. x___x
I am definitely going to fall asleep in class. 8D |
I don't want to studyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy I don't want to do my exam tomorrow..
|
Yeah... I don't want next week to come. I wish the week would skip Monday... I dread the presentation I have to do.
... it is weird... I was planning on sleeping a bit before class started and I can't fall asleep now. oO |
I like how I worked all night on the website and he tells us that we can hand it in by the end of the day. /headdesk
But too tired/not enough resources to make it look better. D8 Check out www.skullrabbit.com/tenku_mockup xD |
Not to nitpick or anything, but you have "each bite is an unique experience." Unique is one of those special class of words starting with a vowel to use the article "a" because it sounds as if it's starting with a "y".
Edit: It scales surprisingly well. Every time I use images as layout elements when I scale things go right to hell. Probably because of the quality of the original images. I have no GFX background at all. |
Yeah, that's not my text... but I was wondering about that, it sounded so weird. Thanks.
I re-designed their website. And I don't know why but the person who did it wrote broken English on purpose. To sound like they're fob... typical Japanese person English? It was ew. |
Is that also why the prices are listed as 500 cents? That was a bit weird, too.
|
Yeah, they wanted to go along with the yen sort of thing. Though people found that amusing so that's okay I guess.
Their current website is www.bakudanyaki.com ... it made me cry. I know the person tried really hard but... it's really yeah. |
No, quick, hide it from Hraes! D:
|
So why didn't they go with your design? I mean, as much as I just LOVE seeing green text on a yellow background...
|
Oh, that's because I just made this design last night...
|
Aah, ok. I'm also a little curious about who thought a bomb motif was appropriate for a business. At least I didn't see any sort of "We're the bomb!" slogans, so for that I guess we can be grateful.
|
The food that they're selling, bakudanyaki, in literal translation is "grilled bomb".
I designed a wordmark for them which you can see in my site. Client asked for it to look sophisticated and clean. Even though they are selling it from a trailer, kind of like those Asian food carts. And looking at their current site it's the absolute opposite. If they wanted to go for tacky sure it'd work but... no. |
They look like GIANT okonomiyaki LOL
