Full End Mage vs Full End Fighter
 

I got a Full End mage friend,and he says its really good,so im asking,wat is better?A full end mage or a full end fighter?


PS:I think myself its Full end fighter because they are close range.

I can see one thing from this: In a 1v1 fight, a mage does MAG dmg and a fighter does PHY dmg. The end works better for the mage against a fighter.

Now if it was a Full SPR Fighter vs a Full END Mage, they would be equal. But why would a Fighter put Full SPR?

I'd rather see a full INT fighter vs a full STR mage.

Fighter would be too damn smart for the mage resulting in a fighter nova'ing the mage in the middle of a staff devastate.

Probably a full END mage... in PvE anyway...

In PvP the fighter would win, if properly prepaired.

What is PvE?

player versus everything
so like against players and monsters

Stands for Player vs. Environment, (i.e., killing mobs/monsters) as opposed to PvP, Player vs. Player.

if you crunch the numbers, or even do simple theorycraft, a full end fighter benefits more than a full end mage.

suppose a fighter (lvl 60) with a shield takes 100 dmg each(without his END)
from 10 mobs that attack at a rate of 1.0/sec.

1000 dmg per second.

the 75 end protects 37 actual dmg from the mobs attacking you. with full end, they deal 63 dmg each.

630 dmg per second, 370 dmg saved per second, roughly 1/3rd of the damage. also keep in mind that a shield is equipped, which give the full END fighter a black rate. mages never block.

suppose a mage (lvl 60) takes 200 dmg each(without his END)
from 10 mobs that attack at a rate of 1.0/sec.

2000 dmg per second.

the 75 end protects 37 actual dmg from the mobs attacking you. with full end, they deal 163 dmg each.

1630 dmg per second. 370 dmg saved per second, but 18.5% of the damage.


so statistically, fighters benefit more. you definitely see more full END fighters than full END mages. last time i saw a full END mage in apoline was back in 79 cap.

Depends on the level of the characters. Full End fighters are good but mage will still do a lot of damage especially if they are high enough level to "drain sp". I myself am a mage but I see no point in full end mage.

Oh yea i forgot to consider the point that full end fighter can block...but wat if the gull end fighter use a 2H weapon(which is a little impossible but oh well...).
