what's the big fricken deal? why do i have to go to a pointless ceremony that means nothing, and does nothing for me? i hate everyone at school anyway >.>

it is pretty boring if it someone else's graduation...

It can be enjoyable...

I enjoyed mine. Dancing was fun, I guess.


When I say dancing, I mean sitting on the side watching others make fools of themselves.

Our school did alphabetical order, since class rank would've hurt some feelings.

And, like Ralath said, it's a celebration of your achievements.

i went to my sisters highschool graduation today!
and i like the dances, and by that i mean actually dancing

for my school we have to wear white clothes. T.T for graduation that is. i dun have any nice white clothes T_T;

pfft. they dont celebrate us. it's to boost their own ego, if anyones, for being teachers and principals.

Oh, also, it's the 9th time it's happened. why is 8th grade so important?

You had a graduation ceremony for 8th grade? That does seem like a waste of time. High school graduation was a bit more important, at the time.

It doesn't hurt to celebrate it. I didn't go to mine. But I'd be pimp smacking you if you were goin on about high school graduation ;p No matter who you are, that day holds joy in one way or another.

Any graduation be it for Middle School or High School arent for you. Graduation ceremonies are for your parents, so just go to them and make your parents proud.

In High School Prom,Grad Night, and Senior Trip are for you. Graduation is for the rest of your family.

Why is there even a grad ceremony for any grade other then the 12th.... thats so stupid imo.

Its really true. I really only went because my mom was coming up from Florida to see me graduate last year.


My school had the top students sit in the front row (in alphabetical order, not rank but we all knew our ranks) I was 3rd in the class. Graduation was kinda boring. But getting to go out for dinner later that night, much welcome

To me, graduation is only time in your life where your parents give you money so you can go and buy beer.
