Did you need to get use to a tablet? I borrowed Blaaah's to test it out and it's worse than if I was using a mouse...

Its going to take some getting used to.

kirbysprite 05-20-2009 01:51 AM

Can't you use a tablet also to play games with? I wonder if you can play Fiesta with tablets.

Lirange 05-20-2009 01:52 AM

i think you can
but it'd be pretty pointless,

Yosei 05-20-2009 01:55 AM

yeah the pen can be used as a fully functional mouse, but its way too easy to click on stuff

Leesa 05-20-2009 02:13 AM

I've actually tried playing fiesta with my tablet once.. way too hard x_x;;

Loveless 05-20-2009 02:15 AM

I got a tablet... but I went back to using my mouse... lol

Lirange 05-20-2009 02:17 AM

o.o
i'd imagine for a gfx artist that a tablet would be better

Yosei 05-20-2009 03:13 AM

Not necessarily, its more for people who write and draw. Graphics artists aren't necessarily drawing all the time when they work.

Lirange 05-20-2009 03:15 AM

oh,
whyd you get a tablet?
do you usually draw?
never seen much of your work

kirbysprite 05-20-2009 04:37 AM

What the? How? Isn't it just point and click? I don't have one, but I would like to know.

kinda is
well you have a pen, and you hover over the screen and it moves your mouse, then if you want to click something or draw then you press down. And on photoshop, the harder you click, the darker it is. Kinda like a real pencil. Thats all i know about it

Esen 05-20-2009 05:07 AM

Very cute Yosei~

I've had one for more than a year, but I don't use it for drawing enough to have gotten use to actually drawing with it. I draw even worst with a mouse though. People who draw good with a mouse always amaze me. Awesome skills. *_*

Holding a mouse tires out my hand more than holding a pen, which is why I prefer using a tablet when doing graphic design stuff. Using a mouse for it is sometimes easier for me though so I just switch back and forth depending on how my hand is feeling. I don't use it for things outside of Illustrator or Photoshop though, too annoying.

Blaaaaaaaah 05-20-2009 08:32 AM

yay for tablet!

a.L 05-20-2009 10:42 AM

Mouse all the way, baby.
