So, it appears you are unhappy with the way we deal things. Let's see, with a constructive criticism, you would need constructive suggestions in order to resolve the issue you are unhappy about. We are welcome for suggestions, so feel free to post what you think we should do in order to deal with the problems.

Leaving out whatever issues with mods/admins and any other group that you have, it doesn't hurt to admit that Mikey was wrong in posting that he could make several jokes about her or whatever.

Blaaahs is very quick. Once I made a post which was basically off-topic. I then edited it and found that, upon submitting the change, the post was no longer there. I then had to copy the edited content and pasted it in a new post.

Is there favouritism? Look at my guild tag, look at what I described above and then ask yourself again. Rules are rules. No exception.

Deleting posts

Since you guys are unhappy that we deleted posts, here they are, I undeleted them.

I/we deleted them before not because I wanted to "avoid" the problem, but because I wanted to let Geese keep her thread open (since the idea of moving the post out to here didn't occur to me till later). I personally thought it would be sad to have to close it just because other members cannot cooperate, but I have closed it in the end. Since it's closed, and the topic is continuing here, I do not see the harm in undeleting your posts. Everyone can see them now.

Now that your posts are not deleted, and that the topic is "continuing", what else is left?

Power abuse and favouritism

Honestly, I don't think you will be satisfied with whatever reasoning until I step down from this admin position. Unfortunately, that probably isn't going to happen because I still like to help this site out for those who appreciate it. Unless, if Entropy does not agree with what I am doing and believes I am not suited, then so be it, I will be stepping down.

However, I can honestly say that I have not abused my power. I do not find the fun in giving "privileges" to friends on an online forum. I have better stuff to do in my life than to give e-privileges. But, for some reason, it appears that I am doing this and that I use my forum powers to do it.

So, how do I do it? No clue, because no one is telling me. I've only been told (by a select few) that I'm abusing my powers. I have never been told how I did it. Heck, I don't even know what kind of privileges people are talking about.

In fact, sometimes I feel like I am not even allowed to have friends here.

Did you guys know that the so called "circle of friends" also got warnings and infractions before? Did you guys know that one of them even got temp banned back when I was in a guild with them? Did you guys know that we ("unbelieveably!") treat them, in terms of forum rules, the same way we treat you?

If you answered a "no" to any of them, then please, please, please, rethink your opinions.

Forum rules

So are there many people that are unhappy with our rules? How many of them made a post here on Site Suggestions and Feedback? How many of them had spoken to us in Talk with the Mods? It sounds like many are unhappy with what we do, yet these two sections are always empty. Why?

Don't tell me we it's because we don't want to listen to you guys. We have stated SO many times, I can't emphasize it anymore, to come to these sections and POST. We cannot help it if you guys (people who are unhappy with our rules) don't post. Yes, we do not have a right to ask you to leave, but you do not have the right to whine and complain about us not doing our job if you do not make the effort to step up to make a constructive post. We may be mods and admins, but we are not mind readers.

And for the most part - most of our forum rules have actually been set due to past incidences. They are not set for us, they are set for what the most of the community wants. Granted, there will always be a select few that wouldn't be happy, simply because everyone will always formulate their own opinions and it's impossible to make everyone happy, but we do what the majority wants. If you don't agree, yet most of the community does - I'm sorry, majority wins.

If, for whatever rule, most of the community suddenly disagrees to, then we will change it. But, we have yet to see the community (by community, I mean SEVERAL different people, not the same select few) to come together and say they do not agree with a certain rule, so there has not yet been any changes. Should that happen, then a change will probably happen.

What I am trying to get through

All we are asking for is constructive criticism. I have yet to see any constructive criticisms in here. All I have seen in this thread are complaints as well as insults and accusations thrown at me (and perhaps, the staff). Over and over again. Yes, as an admin, I have to get used to this sort of stuff. Unfortunately, I am human, so I am not going to smile and nod and say "we will try our best to suit your needs, have a nice day!". Heck, there is one post that took me 10 minutes to find, but here it is. A mighty good example of a civil/constructive criticism.

I volunteer my spare time out to help out with modding and events on this forum. Since I volunteered to be an admin, I will certainly take the responsibilities I am supposed to take, but please, give me a break.

All the insults and all the accusations thrown at me on FiestaFan, not just now but on other occasions, I have rarely spoken up to defend myself. Why? Because I'm an admin. I am supposed to be neutral. I cannot be biased, I must see both sides of things. If I voice my opinion to defend myself, no matter how civil I keep it, I will be wrong in doing it, because that will magically make me unbiased. Doesn't make sense, I know, but that's how it works, too bad so sad for me.

I actually think I do it, though (in regards to staying neutral), most of the time. However, I am human, I am sometimes biased. And when I feel that I am starting to be biased, guess what? I stop what I am doing on the forums and immediately go to the other staff to seek for their opinions, because I know my limits and I do not always trust my own opinions. But, I have not handed out ANY warnings or infractions just because I don't agree with you or because I don't like you. If that was the case, you would have been banned long ago.

Want an example that I think about both sides?

Take this incident about Geese's thread. You want me to see both sides, right? I did. And this is what I thought:

Geese's side: she was unhappy because someone threw hints about making cruel jokes about her or her picture. She already said she didn't like it, and that it hurts her feelings.

Mikey's/your side: it was just a joke. Besides, I haven't really said anything, except admitting and saying what kind of joke I was gonna make. It's only over the internet. It should not be taken seriously. Geese should know better than to take what other people say on the internet seriously.

Community's view: Should they think that making a joke out of someone's picture is right or not? From knowing the community, my judgement would be that majority of the community will disagree to such action. @everyone: Please correct me if I got this wrong.

Additional factors: You have been infracted for insulting members, over and over again, you should know by now.

Conclusion: Infraction. post deleted.

Second issue - the infraction for double posting (not just for you, Mikey, but also Hazu because she did not agree with it).

Your view: man, it was just double posting. why should I get an infraction for it? It's not like you're gonna waste a lot of effort to merge two posts. I seriously don't think the deal is THAT big for me to deserve an infraction.

My view: true, it's only double post. So WHY did it I do it? Because you refuse to abide to the forum rules over and over again, NOT just because it was a double post and because "I was angry". You double posted three times in this thread. Not only this occasion, but you've done the same in other threads before. You know VERY well that we do not allow double posting here.

Those two examples were to explain the very reasons for your infraction. If, even after the details explanations, you still think I abuse my power. Then I'm sorry, nothing I can do.

However, everyone is free to comment on the two infractions I have handed. Based on my explanations, do you guys think they were justified? If not, and many people disagree with me with good/constructive reasons, then I may consider reversing them.
