Faster Gathering / Mining
Well I've always wondered, what is this little orange dash going through the gathering line when your mining, or gathering, you know, that little orange line that alot of people can't figure out. Finally, after talking with my friend, we found out, and tested what this line was for. The line is basiclly used to make gathering and mining much faster, but to do it you have to have good timing.
How to do it 1. Start gathering or mining, quickly place your mouse right on top of the thin orange line that is going vertical on the green line when gathering/mining. 2. Notice that when you are gathering/mining the green bar goes back in forth. As this green line runs over the orange line, double click on the orange line, trying to time it just right. 3. If you double click right when the green line hits the orange line, the line will flash and the herbs, ores, or whatever will drop out, and now you don't have to wait off the rest. Hope this helps! |
Did they re-implement this? Last I had heard it was disabled due to third-party programs auto-clicking.

Guess they put it back in, then. Come to think of it, I think it had been reimplemented by Christmas, because I was click-stealing chests.
|
It has been back for quite awhile...
I wouldn't farm without it. |
They've fixed that bug quite a while ago...
EDIT: SUPER LATE! And you don't need to double click, just single click at the right time works. |
They fixed it?! Since when? lol
When u click on the orange line...that means event items will drop drop? like happy seed or isya blossom |
^I can tell they left it deactivated too long.
|
wow... you had to click ON the line?xD
i always clicked at a random place because i didn't think it matter. If i knew that, it would have saved me a lot of time when i was mining... |
apply a speed scroll, The will make it a little more difficult to use the techqunic above but will increase your gathering speed while reducing your move time resulting in a more consistant farming yeild.
I have not tried it but i suspect that applying a speed scroll will decrease the 3 seconds per on production skills. |
Yea already knew about the line thing, but didnt know speed scrolls to increase gathering, thought it was just travel speed. Can anyone confirm this?

I have confirmed this, the higher the teir of spd scroll you use, the more evident it becomes. |
By the way, you should place the tip of the cursor RIGHT IN THEM MIDDLE of the tiny orange line...
That gives the best results... |

Is that technique is for dropping event items or mroe ores, toads, and herbs?
|
Yea...I think so.
|
Doesn't make it drop, just makes it so that you don't have to wait the full-time to gather.
|
What about hunter war rant with clicking?
Will it be more drops and less time? |
Clicking doesn't increase drops regardless of drop-modifiers.
Depends on how fast you manage to click. Hitting the colored-line is not a requirement for event-items, only makes it faster. |
Then clicking wont increase nothing but quick drop?
So we dont need to even use hunter war rant to get event items? o_o |
Might help if you reread posts.

Hunter War Rant increase drop rates (instead of 1 gold ore, you might get two), it has nothing to do with the line... King's Touch is the CS item that lets you dig faster, and it's useless if you're good with the line clicking. |
Okie! Thanks hessah...
I think KT will be fail...xD! But i always hit the orange/yellow line...nothing happens lol.....Dx Triple click? |
^ Please stick to calling me Blahs.
And you probably did not hit the orange bar at the right time, even if you think it did. Unless it is bugged, but I doubt it since I haven't heard anyone complaining about it being bugged. |
KT = King's Touch o_o;
I'm trying and same speed is going on...nothing is happing @@ |
