I am not understanding your question.

The topic for your thread and the question you are asking seems to be different.

Will they make a new server? Eventually they might.

Will they allow for us to switch servers? I think somewhere in that ask OS staff a question thread that it was a possibility in the future. But their definition of future is usually when most of us quit. 8D

If at any point, They ever had to implement a new server, It would most likely be because of capacity and traffic.

For example, If it took 4 servers to handle the amount of people now, But the server capacity on them is almost always "High" then after this next update, They will be showing "Very High" because of the capped players returning to cap again.
If they add a new server, This will effectively reduce the amount of people in each server, Who want to be #1 on a DIFFERENT server.
Thus, knocking the server capacity back down to a normal "High/Medium"
There's no profit in another server as of yet, So you can imagine OS won't bite.

I think it would be cool to be able to cross servers, but is that actually possible. Isn't the character saved on the server itself?

As for another server I don't think they'll do it until it is absolutely needed, which I don't think will ever be.

I could be wrong but ehh.

It's only data, Manz. It can be copied from server to server. Depending on the game structure, it might have to be done manually (or Manuelly, which is where you pay a guy named Manuel) or with a script.

Thus why I'm a financial analyst and not in computers.

Your questions...not any clearer.

It could mean two things:

1. If I buy a tough cookie pack for one character on a certain server but i want to use it on another server will they ever make that happen?

If that's the question, then its already doable.

2: Will there ever be an item implemented that would allow us to move our characters from server to server?

For that you should turn to the Q&A thread that Ivramire posted earlier.

Yeah, but put it like this:
If they DO implement a server-switching item, It would be:
1. Avaliable, But it would cost some ungodly amount of SC, I'm talking easily $50.
2. It would probbaly be a one-time thing, Not something you could do weekly.
3. Etems you have from one server to another would probably get destroyed or something, To keep the balance of like, Event items and Teva weps to an equal amount on each server.
