I'm sick...
My son was sick today, so I took off work to take him to the doctor. He was not running a fever or anything. Just a sore throat and sinus congestion. Well, it turns out the he just has a severe sinus infection, treatable with over the counter meds. That is what I thought it was, but, I wanted to make sure that it wasn't something worse. Now, this afternoon, I started feeling really bad, and now I am running a fever!!!!!! I never get sick. My kids get sick, my husband gets sick, but I NEVER get sick!!! I can take care of them while they are sick and never get whatever it is that they have.
Now I am sick:eek:!! |
must be a bad bug! every now and then there's a bad bug that goes around where 80% of the population get sick....
maybe fiesta made u lack sleep , so ur immune system has gone down and u caught that bad bug off ur son keke... its ok to be sick! its normal =) get well soon! |

D: Nuuu the mummy of the family can't get sick! That's a bit like me and Hessah's mum, she rarely gets sick (compared to us) too.

That sucks. I rarely ever get sick but when I do... whew... its bad. I get a fever, I become really weak, I get incredibly tired, and I sometimes get really bad pains. And it usually lasts about a week. When I was younger I used to get really sick once a year. So sick that i'd be puking up for a week straight. I would not play video games or anything. I would just sleep and puke. xD
Anyways, hope you get better soon. Get plenty of sleep, drink plenty o' water, and stay away from chicken noodle soup. Why? Because chicken noodle soup is nasty. Get something with a bit more substance like... New England Clam Chowder. Mmm... makes my mouth water just thinking about it. But, thats just me. I don't puke any more when I get sick. I do get close to it though. |

Usually when I get sick from things like motion-sickness or over-working my body etc, I sometimes feel like vomiting but after I let that out of my body I feel perfectly fine afterwards.

yeha agreed.. the worst feeling is the few moments before u actually throw up.... when u wanted to but cant.......

What can I say? I'm not normal. Mine just kinda thins out and I begin drooling. I try to spit it out in a crazy attempt to stop myself from puking. You know whats awesome?! I can make myself puke without sticking my fingers down my throat! >3<
Lulz. Anyways, the worst part about throwing up is when you're actually doing it. It might be different for you guys but when i'm puking it feels like all my insides are coming up. And whats worse is when the little chunks of foods i've never eaten get sucked up into my nostrils along with some bile. It burns like hell. |

Sorry to hear you're feeling bad; hope you and your son feel better soon. If it makes you feel any better, since misery loves company and all, I woke up feeling pretty wretched myself. I knew it was coming, I could feel it last night when I laid down... sucks.

Hope you all feel better soon. I think we should all stay away from this thread before we get infected by it. I am not feeling so well now either.:(

@Hessah - yes, I was still playing last night. I took Lady-Loki's character to a Robo Quest. She won!!!!! @Momma (Lady-Loki) - you can't keep a good dog down. I am back at work today, (monthly taxes are due, I have to get those keyed in), still feel bad, but I gotta do what I gotta do. @everybody else - Thanks for all the well wishes!!! @puke-talking people - NO!!!!!
