I am quitting Fiestafan.

I will try to explain why, leaving out the names where I can.

Some of FF's...'newer' members have grown very... 'irritating' *coughmoocough* I am all for randomness, But there is a line, I am sick of people writing things that make no sense at all, that are not even remotely funny.
However I believe one of the main reasons is that FF is WAY too leanient. Sure give them a chance, maybe even two. But I have only seen one person get banned and that was because he swore alot and was basically an ass. However some people on here lie to everyone, And then get nothing, not even a slap on the wrist. However I don't wish to bring up things that have happened in the past. Another example is people who fill boards with COMPLETE Spam, and all they get is 'don't do it again sweetheart :cutielove:' and a moved thread, then they go right back and do it again.
And I do realise that this is Mountain of SPAM. But I treat this place like a 'random chat' not a place where people can start threads going 'Wowf3kghsgekhhhjhjhsbgqegbklhgbklh lulz wrghekjglj'
And some people who blatantly suck-up to the admins. It's just so annoying.
I do not wish for this to be a Flame thread, Or a Flamebait thread. But the people who I have mentioned in this thread, I hope you know who you are.
I will wait until tomorrow before quitting the site, I may even return to view some posts and maybe even reply, but.. I wouldn't count on it.

Starting tomorrow (my time xD) I'll be gone.

Yeah its unfortunate that you'll let 1 or 2 bad apples spoil the rest for you. You shouldn't leave, you have plenty of friends on here ^^

We mods try to maintain lenient rules that are safe for people of all ages. If someone is lying and being dishonest, there isn't much we can do about that. Its up to you to either believe them, or just don't. Althought yeah, it can be annoying when someones putting up an act and causing trouble on the forums. If you have an issue similar to that, we want you guys to at least inform us and share your concerns. Not promising we can or will do anything about it, but we want to try to maintain the peace on the forum and keep as much people as possible happy =/ But yeah, you're not going to like everyone you meet, and vice versa. You just have to ignore or block them, and if they are causing trouble, report it.

I prefer not to block people. Otherwise if they post in another thread and people reply then I wont have a clue what's happening.


I'm not asking Mod's to point out Liars, I'm talking about people who use identity fraud (ie. Telling people they're something they're not just to screw with people >.>) And when everyone finally finds out the Mods go absolutely bloody nothing.

We're not the police. Just because one person says they're something else when they are not does not give any of the moderators ground to give out infractions and/or ban them. So unless they're posing as someone, let's say the game's GM and trying to get info out of you then yeah, they'll be punished without a second thought (a rather extreme example). But if they're doing so for their own lulz what is there to do? Ban them for having a twisted sense of humour?

All in all, don't let someone over the Internet get to you. What do they gain out of posing and kissing ass? Won't get them too far in real life; just think of yourself as better than such individuals is all I can say.

I've though about quitting because of modding issues before, but when I took a step back and thought about it, they were doing the best job they could. I still have one or two issues, but not enough to quit.

where your friends are and ignore the members that ignore you... worked pretty well for me.
