Whoooa...I didn't mean to brag.

But I got him, where I want him now.

LOL, I found a boy singing this song.

It's just hilarious for a guy to sing a song that's originally sung by a girl. It's TOO HIGH!

U2s latest cd is even more cornier then the last, sounds like it came out of my ass.

Jikanu 04-13-2009 05:49 PM

Beatles > Hendrix > the Clash > U2 > Smashing Pumpkins > Paramore > Blink 182

Yeah, it did suck, but How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb was the BEST album ever.

Jikanu 04-13-2009 06:00 PM

Meh. War makes up for all crappy albums they've made so far.

They have about 3 more to go till we can start getting mad.

I really don't want to look at that. Don't know who the clash is.

There are only 3 bands I love, other bands I listen to, I only like 1 or 2 songs.

Fallout Boy
New Found Glory
Blink-182

LOVE A BUNCH OF THEIR SONGS.

Jikanu 04-13-2009 09:22 PM

...they're not really alternative o-o

kirbysprite 04-14-2009 01:08 AM

Well, when I look at music videos in my TV via On Demand, Fallout Boy and New Found Glory are in the Alt. Rock section. If they aren't Alt. Rock, then what is Alt. Rock?

All of those are pop punk, that's what I'm guessing from Wikipedia. I'm guessing Pop punk is what I like.

Jikanu 04-14-2009 01:23 AM

Fallout boy = pop rock.

Trust me, people slap everything popular with "the times" in the alt rock section.

Alt rock is a form of current punk, some bands include Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, and Foo Fighters (though they're a stretch)

EDIT: Examples

kirbysprite 04-14-2009 01:53 AM

Pop rock, pop punk. There's a difference? (I know someone will be offended by this.)

Meh, okay, how about this.

If a song is good, I will listen to it, I don't care what genre it's from, if it's a catchy song, I will listen to it. That Smashing Pumpkins band is kinda okay. Not really my style (Reminds me of Yellowcard), but if it's like on the radio, I will listen to it. But, I don't think it's something I would put on my playlist.

My playlist.

Pop Rock and pop punk have nothing to do with alternative music o-o

But yeah. im not telling you what to listen to, im just saying fall out boy is completely opposite of alt.

Lirange 04-14-2009 02:41 AM
