lev 20 wiki conflict...

I read Tisbad's short tip in the 'Level 20 Job Change' wiki:

"Before you enter the first time, strip yourself of everything. This is best done for Fighters, because with the kick-ass swords you guys get, they'll cut you to ribbons. When you enter, and your clone appears, he will have no weapons or armor. The only things you should leave on would be Necklaces, Rings, and maybe Earrings."

When I followed this I kept getting creamed :O - Took me a few times - wasting scrolls and pots - However, when I equipped everything - I made it no problem - so ouch wiki ouch.

The points of removing your armor is to put it back on AFTER your clone spawns.

Tbh, with scrolls full stones and some pots.

It's easy as hell.

There is no point to taking it all off, as your clone does the exact same damage with his or her hands anyways.

You're only robbing yourself of defensive and offensive capabilities.

I agree Triumph - However the point of a wiki is to get a heads up - doesn't say put it back on - does mention several times that you need to do things before you enter cause you have no time to etc etc...

It does now. ;)

true - says it under the second part - gives the impression you wouldn't have time the second you step in - frankly it goes by to quick to try all that jazz - only purpose of this thread wasn't to call out my own horrible reading comprehension abilities - but to throw a flag up to other newbs such as myself who haven't tried it......

wiki should say either - keep all your schtuff on - or - beware - don't get nakey... unless you can get dressed and keep hitting the bad guy all while going back and forth from your healing stones to your pots....

Edited accordingly. The wiki is free for everyone to edit, though. If you have something to contribute, feel free to edit it in.

free to edit ?! *evil grin*

I tried it on my mage. I was two-hit in less than three seconds.

Hessah 10-15-2007 06:40 AM

so... its advisable to not remove your armour now? keke

Yosei 10-15-2007 09:28 AM

Pretty much lol. It depends on your connection, lag time, and how well you yourself can move.

Even in front of my clone, I'd never get nakie...=3
