Mysterious photos hidden in our patch!
 

Hello fiestaians. It has been brought to my attention that 6 rather strange photos were placed onto our computers by one of the patches used to update Fiesta.


Go to your Outspark\Fiesta folder, and look under the "resmenu" folder. If you're in the right spot, there will be a file called "aaa.zip" there. Some people, however, do not have this file. (Only one has said she didn't have it, though...)

Extract it, and take a look at the photos.


How do you suppose these ended up in OUR fiesta? D: Was some file accidently tossed into the patch by a patchmaker? was it a purposeful prank? The file says edited 11/10/08, about the time of the turkey patch?

You mean the pictures of the asian kids and stuff? Like some kid's party. Mickey Mouse was in some pictures or something like that.

Raising hell over pictures?

It's probably one of the developer's family, thrown in as an Easter Egg. I don't think it's anything to raise hell about.

So now, who in their right mind would put their pre-preteen daughter's pictures into a game that's sent worldwide? What a nice gift to your daughter...

No point in trying to raise hell here, sir.

None of us care THAT much to cause so much drama over it. We're JUST curious as to how they got there or why they are there.

Why not? They're cute family pictures.

It looks more like an accident to me.. that the photos got in our patch.. and its not anything embarrassing or anything... =/

and besides parents do silly things when it comes to their children.

The person who did was probably thinking it was cool to send the pictures world wide (so to speak).

Its entirely possible that something like this can be attributed to the rise in bin errors. If the game is calling for a patch resource that was replaced with vacation photos....boom. Game breaker.
