To +9 or not to +9
 

Today I got some good Hawk pants +15END +35DEX +22INT

I cant decide if its worth making +9 or wait for something else. I only had +21END +25STR green pants +0.

Any opinions?

If you are.. I think you should buy a more "1337" pair of pants... 35END is nice, but there might be some other godly 35END with high STR or DEX (or both) that will be more worthy of enhancing...

But, I guess that's weighing between the chances of finding one (in shop or drop wise) or whether you should just go with it.. haah

What level is the pants and what level are you? If you're gonna be using it for a long time, I guess it doesn't hurt to wait a bit to find a more"godly" pair to enhance..

I've seen some pants with 20-3x str and end and possibly dex or spr xD
up to you tho.

Looking at those stats I would say no for sure with only 15 END I know you can do better the 35 Dex is but you should try and get a pair with higher END. Farming for these purples isn't exactly difficult just time consuming so if you have alot of time you'd be better off farming for better pants and +9ing that.

Im 86 those Hawk Pants are 85. I am not rich so I guess Ill wait for another pair.

I assume that's lvl 78 pants?

I reckon you could find better pants with higher END to +9... archer stuff are relatively cheaper...

I wouldnt +9 that if it was for me =D

Yea 85 purple. Its kidda hard to find archer purples that are any good. I always get Fighter and Clerics.

Then that's probably worth +9-ing... since if you were to buy better ones, it'll cost u just as much as a green already +9 @_@

Oh if it's purple, then I dunno. I do agree that it's hard to find good purple stats. And even if there is in shops, they're usually overpriced.

+9 em, b/c if it purple, it going to be very very hard to find a good one, that one seem very decent stats, and if it purple, that is too good, ^^

If you dont find many purples then id say not +9 it but +6 it. Its easier and u dont waste to many miles. and if u find other better purples u can sell the purple +6 for a good price.

Yeah, Personally, the stats are kinda iffy, But the dex is epic, Need a bit more END, Hunt around for like, Another week and see what's on the market, If nothing else pops up, You can always just get some godly END armor at 80.

But i think that the only ARMOR that should get +9'ed are the ones that come only every 10 levels, Like boots, Kinda pointless, Unless you're 89 and bored. But that's just me.

Here is a simple way to evaluate and compair greens:

far as i know int have no value to an archer so the hawk pants 15end and 35 dex total 50 points, the other pair 21end and 25str total 46.

The hawk pants are lev 85 so 50 / 85 = 58%

The other pants are lev 88? so 46 / 88 = 52%

Add to that the hawk pants are purple and its clear which are better.

I always wait to the last possable time to enhance anything on the chance something better may come along.

Hmm seems clear to cap then farm GM and in DT to see if something better drops.

Its gonna be hard to find a better top than my lv 80 +34 STR +38 END...just throwing this out there if anyone finds Hawk boots with high END and some STR give me a shout or something.

(34+38)/80=90%. Godly is a term that gets thrown about a lot. On a top, which can have 3 stats this peice (imho) is near godly. On boots or helmets which can only have 2 stats I could call these numbers godly.

I'm not a numbers freak but I have thought about just how to evaluate the quality of a peice of equipment. Somewhere in the posts is a write up for "pricing greens" more info there.
