a 2-layer map idea that would be fun

a Two Layer Map: If you look at Forest of Slumber at G3 where you have the water on one side where your view is on a ridge and other side is a valley ...

try having a gate/portal that takes you to lower lvl and have flying monsters on top of ridge like a flying dinosaur. On lower lvl have some sort of slugg monster

Both levels on one map can make in fun.

Also; have the gates for just one section of a map with gates to their own sections. Also; a gate that pops up random like a treasure chest could be fun with monster that have real nice drop rates.

Maybe the map and monster making dudes & dudettes will get this idea and run with this idea .... it's FREE!!

It really doesn't take too much work to get it done.

It's just, you can never trust failspark to get it right.

Asking for a new feature is asking for another year of unpatched new bugs (to be added to the existing list of one year old bugs)

Erm, Onsonsoft does that not OS, OS has got absolutely NOTHING to do with development except sending bugg reports and maybe a request.

Ya OS has to follow KFiesta.. ^^;; That idea isn't too bad though, but even if KFiesta has it we won't until a looong time.

Amber_Bamber 03-19-2009 10:07 PM

The other side, Where the water,Rainbow and the mountain/valley things are?
Yeah...That's AEW. That bridge connects to aew, though it may not seem it..
And how would lower levels get to AEW/FoS in the first place? Unless someone escorted them there..?
And yeah we're following Korean Fiesta, And OS/OnsOn never really listens to our ideas. I don't know why people even bother anymore.

★ Ya diss outspark a little to much =/
★ Why don't you get something like 3D render,
★ And make a huge game like Fiesta is.
★ Make maps, Models, Weapons, Armors, Items and more.
★ THEN you say OutSpark or the other term "FailSpark"
★ Is to lazy to make more stuff :I

Amber_Bamber 03-19-2009 11:06 PM

For one..Outspark doesn't listen to us. Have you noticed that? Maybe a few ideas but no.

Me and my friends are actually in the making of a game, Thank you very much.

I don't think you've seen the real side of outspark, have you?

Anyways to be on topic,
I think its a..bad idea XD

A lot of games are becoming quite advanced with their maps. Fiesta is a basic game, with a basic system, thus why it is awarded the best beginners MMO.

Amber_Bamber 03-19-2009 11:21 PM

Yeah but i can't see Outspark doing that.

EdwardWarlock 03-20-2009 02:37 AM

Yeah, that would be nice.

Thats not something people at OS do, they have NOTHING to do with the creation of the game, its a korean product not an American/europen/FIllipino.

I dont know about you - but where I work bugs are fixed from the developers from India in less than 24 hours. The product is redeployed in within that time frame.

It's your responsibility as a licenser to ensure that the product is delivered in working order. I've said this many, many, months ago that outspark doesn't even conduct tests to ensure the product is worth deploying either.

Please dont give me that mumbo jumbo about how Outspark is not liable in the least bit.

Albeit a different corporate structure - need I point you to :

1) Rohan Online
2) Perfect World Online

which are developed oversea's as well and shipped to their american counterparts.

However, the difference is Rohan Online has bi-weekly patches and updated to bugs. Perfect World Online has weekly patches and updates to bugs and content.

When something majorly go's horribly wrong Blood Feud (Rohan Online) manages to get an emergency patch in less than 24 hours....

The fact is, other games are developed overseas, other games recieve more frequent updates and fixes. Clearly it has nothing to do with the developer.

Even more amusing is if you decide to play kFiesta - you'll notice none of the bugs we have plague them.

Lone_Wolf 03-20-2009 03:27 PM

I am not saying that for the buggs I am saying it for the fact they ask OS to implent it.

Gmigo has test servers to, bu I doupt if its thourougly tested because there are huge problems after some patches><

The mess ups are most of the times fixed in 24 hours though.

Loveless 03-20-2009 04:48 PM

I believe you guys are going off-topic. We're not here to talk about how the developers and OS are doing compared to another gaming company. OP stated an idea, you don't have to agree, but it's more or less a "for fun" thing. Let's not get into a whole argument about if they'll actually do it and for goodness sake have fun with the idea.

Ivramire 03-20-2009 05:14 PM

Even if Outspark had full control and jurisdiction + the the inclination to implement an idea like this...I'd still think they're stretched too thin across 5 games, forums and their respective communities hanging over their heads. Seems like a nice idea but that's all it'll probably be.

Wishful thoughts :T
