DD axe wielder

i wanna maximize my dmg, what stats shud i use

Manzcar 03-12-2009 06:49 PM

100% STR for pure DD axe wielding fighter.

You could put 25 in SPR and then rest in STR but that only helps Crit rate.

FutureKnight 03-12-2009 08:00 PM

hmm, i shud get 6 stat reset scrolls then. i used to be a tanker

Manzcar 03-12-2009 08:10 PM

or you could just put all stats in strength from now on.

What is your current build?

FutureKnight 03-12-2009 08:27 PM

60end 20str so i think it wud be better if i'd reset that

Manzcar 03-12-2009 08:39 PM

I think that anything on END over 50 has a diminishing return i.e. you don’t get much from having it over 50. So resetting at least 10 points would be a good idea. But, you don’t have to reset all sixty points either.

I am currently 30 STR 30 END and 25 SPR and I solo, tank, and do good damage; so it is completely up to you.

FutureKnight 03-12-2009 08:44 PM

hmm. i think ill go 50end and the rest to str

Miriamele 03-13-2009 05:08 AM

I'm 50 END and rest STR. It's a decent build for both soloing and parties but I will never dish out as much dmg as other pure-STR DDers do. So if you really, really want max dmg, then STR is the only way to go. But it's too costly for such marginal gain that even I wouldn't do it unless you had a lot of money to throw away, for reset scrolls are not cheap.

MikeyG 03-13-2009 02:43 PM

I KNOW THERE NOT CHEAP LOL.
Try having an account for 2 weeks.. spending money on resetting
all the stats at lvl 68 only to have it banned a week later.

Imma suggest 25spr/rest str... just cause haha.

AegisXOR 03-15-2009 10:42 AM

If you want to DD with pure STR, you should be focused on getting the fastest weapon possible for the most benefit.

Ivramire 03-15-2009 12:19 PM

^Might be negated because Fighters get a ton of skills and don't have to wait for animation. Skill-spam > Normal slashing.

FutureKnight 03-17-2009 12:35 PM

I reset my whole build... I added 25spr and the rest went to str :)

Ty all who helped me with this

Valentino513 03-17-2009 01:15 PM

i'm thinkin of makin a pure dex fighter, anyone think that'll be cool?

Senyx The Soulless one 03-17-2009 01:17 PM

Pure STR, Make sure to have nice godly END gears for each set. SPR is not as necessary if you are a common SparkCash User. Just grab a pair of glasses, a suit, And a few mighty potions. And be on your merry way.

I have a level 65 DEX fighter, By 80+ The only thing they are good for is PVP, And only then, Barely. Archers with no points in DEX still have a higher EVA then you will.

HPhealer 03-17-2009 08:27 PM

future its better that youre pure END because axe user have very low def , that build what your doing is more a pvp build

FutureKnight 03-17-2009 09:37 PM

DD =basicly For pvp -.-

HPhealer 03-18-2009 07:15 AM

then do pure STR with axe always see lvl 70 fighters with that build

FutureKnight 03-27-2009 11:04 AM

Indeed there are much pure str fighters but there are alot of spr25 rest str fighters aswell also the crit bonus is lovely (5%)

"Immediate Cast" skills don't actually interrupt your attack animations. If you run up to something, start attacking and use slice n' dice, you'll see both the skill and the regular attack hit at once if done properly and continue attacking normally at the proper tempo.

Since a crapload of fighter skills are immediate cast (at least, at level 24 this seems so), weapon speed still plays into power a bit.

Dunno about that one exclusive 2h skill.

Ivramire 03-27-2009 01:54 PM

The higher you go, the more skills you get.

More than enough actually to not normal attack before the target's dead.

AegisXOR 03-27-2009 02:55 PM

Hm. That's not really surprising.

At least my fighter can be switched over at any time. Maybe when I've got the money to afford spamming my skills constantly. lol

ninacows 03-27-2009 03:30 PM

I think fighters are realy underpowerd
