Kiting
 

I know what kiting is an all but can someone explain to me exactly how to use it in fiesta? Do you only use it with your skills or do u use it with your default attack. I'm going to go 25spr rest str and crossbow.

Oh and how many skil points do you get from job advancements?

For archer, I only use it with skills that allows me to run and cast at the same time... (then when the mob is almost dead, I might use a skill that requires me to stand still to finish them off)

All the DoT skills are particularly useful for kiting..

That is also why Mist is so good for kiting as you can run and cast...

Level 20 Job change gives u 5 points, Level 60 Job Change gives you 10 points.

Just a tip when kiting:Click a long distance on the ground in front of you. That way you can cast the skills without getting slowed down.

Keeping distance is key.Practice til you can Mist and Pierce without looking back to aim.

oh and one more, what lvl should i have 25spr?
I was thinking about putting my extra stat points into spr from the job quests but then i'll need 10more. So what lvl is it good to start adding spr? I've been adding str for now. Even though i'm only lvl 4xD

I've changed alot, so I cant remember what I did, but I would say you try maybe 2:1SPR:STR and add the job change points to SPR. Try to get it out as soon as possible.

You also dont wanna add too much STR early on in case you pull too much agrro in KQ's since you dont have natures protection yet. I think 2:1 would be a good ratio.

Yeah.. I think it'll be ideal that you get ur 25 SPR by level 50-51... that way you'll have all the crits from free stat for your AOE mist... archer's most amazing skill XD

One question... Do you stop to use multi-shot or only use nature's mist? The best way to keep distance is 5 % speed scroll ^^ Do you find dex usefull for kitting? Or maybe end/str more?

Multishot can be used if you're just grinding in one spot. Otherwise, not as useful as Mist. Dex isn't that useful. =/

Mist is all you use in kiting until 75, when you get Piercing Shot, which is basically mist with more damage but less dot. Then you use both.

When you click ahead to run becareful about it because sometimes you'll run in place and will need to click again so watch out on that. Alot of archers get killed this way and I dont think they've fixed this yet- if it is fixable. But if you just pay attentino and dont kite to much at once death ish avoidable.
And if you reduce the CD on natures mist fully and spam it as much as possibly its helpful.
Multi-shot you can only use standing in one place so it's usless when kiting.

But I did notice that if you start using the skill before it's finished cooling down, you end up running back into the mobs.. which is VERY dangerous..

So make sure you keep running away and only use the skill when it's finished cooling down...

o: The running in place problem? o.o most archers I know get that x.o but I havent lately so maybe it was fixed..

Mmm....... like your running and it shows that you're still running but your not going anywhere... Like how peoples raccoons will run in place at times when you pass them I guess.

ohh never had that on my archer... =D hopefully they have fixed it...
