Monarch System Questions
 

I have a few apprentices now, and I wanted to explain the benefits of the monarch system to my friends, but I don't know the whole deal exactly. Can someone help me out?

Basically..

Apprentices' benefit: receives prizes every 10 levels up to level 40 (10, 20, 30, 40). Prizes are usually just a pet, a weapon and the like though (nothing too 1337). After 40, apprentices don't get anything from it.

Master's benefit: receives 10% of what apprentice spends on NPC. This usually doesn't count for much at low levels though. I think it pays off more when your apprentice is like, level 50-60+ LOL.

Should also note that the monarch system is currently disabled as from the last patch because master was not receiving 10% of the money.

Are rewards from my storage or inventory?

The rewards are not from your master's pockets it's give by the game.

unless there have been wholesale changes to the monarch system, the items you receive at lvls 10, 20, 30, 40 consist of a non-stat green weapon for your class, nublet rings (silver, bronze, etc, non-boss) and some decaf cash shop items like 1hour warrant or 1hour 20% exp boost.

the rewards are automatic and do not need to physically be given from master to apprentice. the rewards will show up in their 5th inventory slot, same as academy rewards.

to my knowledge there are no pets given out, again unless there have been changes. there's no logical reason for a new player to not become someone's apprentice. the rewards are well worth it.

As a master you only receive silver which goes straight to your pocket the minute they spend it.

ah thought u were explaining the benefits of being an apprentice. but anyway, guess it's good to spread the knowledge anyway.

one thing i did want to add is that u should never enhance the apprenticeship reward weapons. they're all bound to you (just like the rings) and are unable to be sold. would suck to get stuck with a no-stat +9 lvl 30 axe forever.

Yup you get pets. Well I got honeyings twice right at the beginning. Unless they changed it now so that you don't get pets... lol.

I've got Honeyings from apprentice rewards... Just like the weapons, it's character bounded.

and 5x of 1 HR 20% exp boots card at level 40, and I think 2 of those at level 30..

There was no war rant... and yeah some other junk like necklace and things...

you're sure that the pet wasn't an academy reward?

Yup, we don't give pets in our academy...

And it's bounded to my character, so it can't be academy rewards...

Hessah was the pet u got.....was in that time academy stuff exists?

I cant remember.. maybe.. I got it when I turned level 40...

Very sure it's not academy rewards though, coz I contribute to my own guild's academy rewards and.. we don't have that many pets to go around XD
