XD is that really good? I hvnt seen it.. but heard a lot about it.. (dont even know wat it's about)

I haven't seen but.. its like a love story or something so erm.. can't be that complicated O_o

Honestly I thought the Oscars were all about Indie/limited release films this year. Slumdog, The Wrestler (I really wanted Mickey Rourke to win Best Actor, though I'm happy for Sean Penn ) Milk, Rachel Getting Married (Anne Hathaway was my pick for Best Actress, but yet again...).

I watched a bit of Slumdog millionaire then got bored, will probobly watch it again at some point.

I watched it but wasn't exactly paying attention. I think the winners were pretty good. Of course Heath Ledger got an award.

No surprises on Ledger's win. Or Slumdog for that matter. Were there any surprises this year? Are there ever any surprises? I don't generally follow, (or care bout), the Oscars, but Megan was all into it this year because of Ledger so I watched the last half or so of it with her after I got off work.

I think Ledger really did nail that role though and I liked his performance better than his competition, so I'm cool with his win.

Slumdog is the only one of the best picture nominees I've actually seen and I thought it was very good so I guess that's cool too. Since I've no way to compare them atm I can't argue either way.

WALL-E won best animated feature film. :)
No complaints from me there either. I loved WALL-E.
