Don't you love it when people go to FBZ, and cry about being bullied in FBZ? Let's analyse what FBZ stands for.

F is for Free. Hm, what does Free mean? Free for all levels? Feel free to kill? Something like that, I guess?

B is for Battle. Battle... maybe I'll need to grab a dictionary for some people. Battle means to fight. To kill. Kill means to reduce the other player's HP to 0.

Z is for Zone. Zone means an area, a place.

So when you put it together, it means a place where you can get killed by any player of any levels.

Wait, not quite there yet! OS seems to know their players very well (in regards to the amount of IQ the majority has). They put up a new notice every time you go into FBZ now:

This area is enabled for PvP.

OH MY GOSH!! Genius. I used to think, why the hell did they put a notice like this? Now I realised! Not only is it to help lower level/new people, but it's to help older players with no brain too!

Oh shiz, they don't have a brain, that means they won't be able to process all of the above.

Srsly though. Long story short, this 8x cleric had been killing my mage over and over because she think I killed her mage friend (4x/5x) for nothing. I don't do that, I only kill people when I see them bully someone else (which the mage did, she killed a little cleric).

Anyways. I'll skip all that jazz about how stupid they both are~ I'll skip right to when they started throwing insults.

The 8x cleric logged onto her alt mage and started dancing near me when her friends ran off somewhere else. Of course I went to kill her. I don't care if she had an 8x cleric, I'll kill her all I want like the way she did to my mage. x]

Then she shouts:

"blahs u r weak"

Um, yes, maybe because I'm a full support cleric? :angel:

I was in PvP KQ when this fighter kept going after me and this mage. We always feared him, and he never got a single change to hit us, LMAO.

Then at the end, he shouts, "LOL @ those mages that feared me 6 times lmao".

And I shouted back "LOL @ you not being able to even touch us"

And BEHOLD! This was his reply:

"Don't use fear then :3"

=O !!!!!! Don't use stun! Don't use your skills! Don't use your keyboard! DON'T BREATHE!!!!!!!!!!!!

This isn't like one of those free-for-all PvP type games where you were ganking her doing quests or anything. It's a FBZ. If they don't like it...they can leave and go to a map where someone won't be able to kill you, barring running a train, like it seems to happen every time I have to nip off to the restroom when I'm sitting near the gate in CP1. Running those stonies just isn't cool, man.

And where do people get the idea that... only they're allow to kill other people.. and others arent allow to kill them? huh? huh? huh?

I run stonies to gate :uhoh: but if someone is shroomed I usually have to stop and kill... which sucks cuz my cleric kill soooooooo slowly.

I spent hours in 5x abyss with my fighter because you dont have all these new commodoties like going into higher abysses or higher lvls going into lower abysses. Now its like, you talk to someone one day and they're 50 and the next they are like 67, its crazy i tell you! lol not to sound dumb or anything, but they need to do something about the current plvl all the way to 80 thing, because its annoying.

Fiesta is getting bad. Where did the cool high level players go? I guess we'll have to replace them....

Seriously though.... I don't play Fiesta anymore but the same basic theme is highly prevalent in pretty much all online pvp games. I get to where I just turn off the mic and/or ignore chat entirely sometimes. Or just go play something singleplayer. I get a high enough dose of stupidity from friends and family so sometimes I simply don't want to hear it in my downtime as well.

When i pvp on my fighter, and see a mage fear me as soon as i devestate, i don't cry out OMG NOOB - i actually respect their skill and timing (and the promptly bug their fear so that i stay right next to them).


Now, I'm a PKer on my fighter. When i get tired of TR and KKP, I go into 7x/6x abyss and kill people randomly. I do have some rules, however: I kill everyone once. Nobody gets a free card just because they're my friend, but also i never kill them again as long as they don't attack me.

If a cleric can withstand my devestate and the damage i do during it, i give up on them.


If someone acts like an idiot or starts grandstanding, they die. simple. My archer has proven herself capable of killing minor fighters her level, my fighter can annihilate anyone in her path, my mage can plow down fighters in a few hits.

Well, isn't that awfully nice of you? You're such a lord and master of the pixels, who dispenses justice as you see fit. I, for one, am glad that there are such paragons of mercy as you roaming the digital plain.

Sorry but.... I completely disagree with your way of thinking and though I'm guessing I can't persuade you to think otherwise, I'd still have to say I really dislike this type of thinking.

In FBZ, it's different (to me), because you haven't got much to lose. There's nothing else to do other than PvP in the map so you can't really whine about being killed. There isn't anything you can do there other than PvP.

But abyss is different because you can lose exp. It may only be 0.5% but hey, I've been working hard for it. I'd really hate it if someone just randomly came to PK me when I did NOTHING to them, even if it was just once.

I will lose my scrolls that I put on to GRIND with, I will lose the exp I've been working for, and I will have to go all the way back to my grinding place, just because someone felt like they can kill me, but I can't touch them back or else they will kill me again. =/

I guess it's our choice for grinding in abyss but.. eh. -shrug-

If they ask me to stop, I do - You'd be suprised how many people just go WTF and attack me.
A few times I got attacked on sight just for coming near their cleric.
I'll give a short but simple explanation:

Bijou has some of the most violent abysses in the game. People kill for spots. Kill for ksing. Kill for looking at them the wrong way.

My kill sprees are rare, but complete. There's so many fully +9 characters on bijou that pvp is one of the few challenges afforded. I often warn them before hand, but sometimes I dont when i see they can defend themselves (Multiple clerics, strong 70+ mages, etc). I help friends when they're getting attacked in abyss.


If the world were all nice and happy, everyone could do everything without any problem, there's no challenge left, we all get free +9s and crit suits, etc etc.... the game would be boring. I for one salute the abyss' pvp ability because it lessens guild drama and changes it into player drama.

(you KNOW that if it wasn't pvp there'd be rampant KSing and guild warring over spots, pvp also fixes this issue by just having the opposing parties beat on eachother while a lone fighter solos the room <---personal experience)

EDIT: And to the person that de-repped me for 'booo pker', go grow up. Get +9 armors. Survive. I don't pick on people - I fight them. There's a difference. There are people strong enough to kill me in the abyss, and then I lose exp too - I suffer losses as well.

I don't think you will... why should you expect others to do the same? Practice what you preach?

Were your "random sprees" killing for spots? Killing for ksing? Killing coz you were looked the wrong way? Not from what I see in your earlier post. It was because you were bored.

Fair enough, people step into abyss knowing very well they're a free kill for any random person, though I wished the meaning behind "pvp" ground isnt random killing sprees, but a nice fight for spots. You fight to gain... not fight to be amused.

Unfortunately, too many people in fiesta are just doing it for the thrill. It's ashame to see a good concept trashed.

I thought for the challenge, there's Free Battle Zones for the cash shop addicts. But no, they rather "fight" the weakings with a bunch of mobs on them.

Just don't throw pkers like brain freeze and someone like me together because we're "both pkers" - That's like throwing Hessah or Bla~ahs together with Joe the Level 4 Cleric because they're "both clerics".

And if you want to see the FBZ being a challenge, go and get pwned by some cookied level 89 when you're 7x. There's no challenge there.


And 'killing just for the thrill' and 'concept'. Nobody from Outspark or Ons Ons soft has said any reason for it being a pvp area - NOTHING. It just is. Everything that is entailed with that applies.

If you're going to rant about bad clerics, go ahead. Rant about pkers, go ahead. Rant about malicious people that ruin the game for others, go ahead.

If you're a person that would quit fiesta just because someone killed you, quit. I'm sure you've been maliciously been pked before.

Meh, people have their different policies about how things should work in FBZ, sadly, the only thing that works in the end is who can kill everyone else with opposing views. They in turn, of course get ganked and ganged xD

This is my take on it. I'll say it then stfu about it. Now, I personally don't do PK, I'd rather be left to level in peace, which is why I stay away from pvp zones, not just in Fiesta, but in all the games I've played. But if I were to just randomly be PKed, I wouldn't piss and moan about it. I'd do one of two things, either a) try to go after whoever killed me to get revenge, or b) if I couldn't do that, I'd remember who it was, go level until I felt like I could at least put up a decent fight, then go back and try to get revenge. And if I was killed again, then, well...that would be the end of it, period. I wouldn't try again.

That's my two bent coppers on it.
