Questions from a newbie =3
 

Now that I got into closed beta I have some questions!

1. Do we lose exp when we die? Or only if we reach a current level? I died but I don't know if I lost any exp.

2. Are there any aggros? So far no monsters had come attacking me.

3. What kind of drops do you guys sell to make money? How do you usually tell if a drop could be valuable or not? I'm currently broke cos I can't even afford skills!

4. What are petals for? I've been pulling them out of the flowers, lol!

Extra question: Where are speedy slimes? ;~; Do I have to go through that blue door/gate thing? Or is that for the kingdom quests?

1. You lose 1% of your exp if you die, pretty laughable :D You lose nothing if your exp is less than 100.

2. There are aggro monster, speedy slime is an example. There are also monster that attack in group, they aren't aggro, but you attack one of them, the nearby monsters will gang bang you :D

3. Depends on the job you choose: if you choose potion making and stone making, sell the scroll making material. Usually I focus on stone making only, they are good at low level. One trick is have several friends, each responsible for one job, and you give all the materials to that one, so they level up job faster.

4. You can sell them for some copper :D I can tell you that keep Apple and Herb Leaf for some higher level quest, they are damn easy to find at low level, yet damn hard at higher level <.<

Extra: Speedy slime is in Forest of the tides, near the gateway, on the right, among the imps and mushroom mobs. Can't miss them.

Kingdom quest can be taken from level 7, and I don't think you are level 7 yet :D You can click on the glass hour icon at the bottom left of your mini map to check and participate in kingdom quest, or talk to the village chief.

Thanks thailehuy! Imps aren't for lower levels aye? I died in like, 2-3 hits. Haven't tried speedy slimes yet.

Imps are for levels like 5-7 at least that is when I attacked them on my mage. At lvl 8 I could 1 hit them so I moved on. And speedy slimes are a bit easier than slimes.

Yeah just got killed by one though, lol!

Btw, I just bought of HP Potion (Tier 1) Production Scroll. I tried to learn that skill but it says the skill cannot be learnt even if the required level is 0. Why's that?

Edit: Ah nevermind, I got it now~! Didn't learn the other production skill yet. xD

If you notice you have some hp stones up and you can use them if you hit "q".

Hahah yupyup except I've been using them a.lot. so I'm going to start learning the hp potion skill to make some potions for myself xD

Also, you know the yellow title in front of people's name? Is it custom or what? At first I thought it was normal cos I see "Apprentice Archer, Apprentice Cleric etc" but then I saw someone with "Smart Rhino Killer". What the heck? Lol.

Lvl 3-6 if you're a Cleric (those overpowered bastards).

Also, what does fame points do?

If you have enough fame it might give you a yellow title. o,O

The title does not only depends on fame (but the Celebrity title does :P). There are several titles I know how to get:

-If you break some items (2-3 or so) you get "Unlucky enhancer" title. If you break even more, you get "Item Spoiler" title.

-If you register a title for your weapon, you will get that title. E.g: "ratman killer". If you kill enough of that monster to upgrade your weapon title, you can have more advance title of that type, e.g: "ratman executioner", "ratman eliminator", "ratman elite killer" ....

-If you have a +5 item (you DON'T need to upgrade it by yourself) you get the title "Lucky enhancer". If you get +7 items, you become "Successful enhancer", +9 is "Triumphant enhancer" (I only saw 1 triumphant enhancer in the last few days)

-The obvious title: your job title (apprentice -> high/clever/hawk/wiz) :P

how do you register a weapon?

-The Celebrity title depends on the number of users on your friends list, not fame (same with Popular).

-Triumphant enhancer is if you make an item +6 (I have it)
-Enhancement Artist is if you make an item +7 (I also have it)
-I believe Miraculous enchanter is if you make an item +8, but it may be +9


You go to the weapon register in either one of the two main towns (Roumen, and Elderine), and you place your weapon in the top slot, and your lisence in the next slot. Then you click the button to the right of the lisence and it's registered.

how do u do a kingdom quest, i press participate adn nothing happen :confused:

It has to be in the recruitment stage.

well at lvl 20+ yu can buy skills like "revive" and "nature's protection" for fame, but the system is bugged rite now so yu'll have to wait a while.

Anyone know what to do here. I got my scroll production skill but everytime i try to make a scroll it says I dont have production skill what do i do?

Some scrolls you also have to buy the skill for it. If it's Bluish/Purplish you can make it. If it's yellow you can't make it yet.

I forgot about that part of the production thank you.

The point is, there is no scroll recipe yet <.< Those scrolls apparently are very strong at low level, last one hour for tremendous amount of bonus <.<

I had a lot of trouble joining my first KQ. Most of the recruiting KQ's are right at the bottom of the list, beneath the "In progress" and "Schedule" one's.

If you go to the all tab of the KQ scroll down and those are the next ones to happen be there around 5 minutes ahead of time.
Yes the recipes are there just hit the arrows at the bottom of the alchemy section of the skill merchant.

Like so so much! I was just walking OUT of Elderine and all these mobs started chasing me, and I didn't even get a chance to run 10 steps and I DIED. There goes another 45 exp.

Guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh ;~; I don't think I will ever make it to 20. What do you guys fight at 17 if you're an archer? @.@ Also I forgot to save skillpoints so does that mean I can't learn that pick axe/mining skill or whatever for the quest until I level? There's no skill person in Elderine is there? Can you buy town scrolls from npc shops?

Well I think you could fight boogey's or ratmen at lvl 17. There is a skill person in elderine that sells the 20+ skills and I think she has mining. I don't think you can buy scrolls from npc if you find one though tell me.

There is?? I can't find that skill npc on the map before. Is she like near the centre of Elderine?

There is a circle of people around the Elderine guard captain. All of the people around him sell skills I believe.

When i click Particpate for kingdom quest, it always say Cannot Find Quest:confused:

The KQ has to be recruiting to be able to join. It showes the recruitment time in military time I beleive and there is a clock to show what time it is.

the names r like if u enchant a lotta stuff then u go on ur charater and there is a button that says "change" and u press it and if u meet some requrments then u can pick a name like rookie enchanter (thats what it says for my charater)

the yellow title is not custom. if u go on ur charater window there will b a button that says "change" if u press that there might b a title to pick from... if theres not then u have to earn a title and example is if u break a weapon or armor (this is a funny name) while upgradeing u can get the nickname "item spoiler" :D

You also get this title if you keep enhancing equips and getting them successful in a row. i only enhance some equips all to +3 and i got the title. :>

For the enhancing weapons, I place the Elrue's at the same slot every time (for about 6 times already!), and I get my weapons enhanced ; never had any weapon broken... is it suppose to work like that? heh heh... (Though I don't mind if they do not correct that error... ^^)

o_O You sure are one lucky person, lol, lady lucky must have be smiling upon you. Well...it's not suppose to work like how you pictured it ^^.., there are also chances of failing depending on how lucky you are, so yea. =p
