I remember in grade school we made little mail boxes and glued them to our desk. Went out and bought a box of Valentine cards for everyone in class. xD

Mother and step-father are having a birthday(mom's b-day is on the 17th)/v-day luncheon thing.

So.. I get yummy food and crap.

But I shall not stay out in the dining room o_o 14(15 including my mom) women chatting the place up + my step-dad and crap... ugh. Not my place.

Oh damn, it's on a Saturday.

Yup. I don't really like V-Day. I'm one of those people that sees it as a commercial holiday D:

EDIT: Its not depressing. I really don't like how people look at V-day. Its either happy or depressing. Sigh.

Thats not what Valentine's Day is about.. least not anymore.

Its a day to show the one you love that you really do love them and care about them.

and THAT is what bugs me. Why do we need to set aside ONE day to show each other we care? =.= We should just do it. Any day and every day. Not with expensive gifts or anything. Its honestly the small things that count.

There's no need to publicly show your affection for each other or any of it =\

Srsly. There is such a huge mood swing with those that don't have someone when V-Day comes around and its just stupid. The days and months before V-day you just went on with your life and had friends and blah blah. But oh no.. V-Day.. you don't have a significant other(--->YET<---) and you're in hell. Right.

Well, he called me on the day and was excited about something at work. And just as we were about to hang up I said... "Do you know what day it is?"

I think it took him a good 10 minutes or so... again, the reaction was priceless.
