How can you speed up production EXP?

I wanted to know if there is a faster way to speed up production skills experience. I'm already in my 60's, but I still make mostly T2 items and some T3 (but barely). I skimmed through all of the guides and I didn't really find anything pertaining to this in particular. Any ideas? :smarty:

You know those vendors in town that are buying four rows of mats at a time?

That.

CrazyVietFs 02-08-2009 02:41 PM

Spidy KQ, and KKP KQ, you got lots of Matter...
- Work on your decomp/compose on one of the noobs, to tier 3, best way?, sap, broken bone, and silver ore... -
- then decompose those all matter tier 2 to tier 1, "for pot, stone, and scroll"
- when you reach tier 2, just do tier 2, because faster point,
- keep going to KQ SPidy and KKP to get matters, and kept on repeat,
- It is only easy when you got decomp/comp....

LOLLOLOLOLOL too much science? xD
I need to follow that. I'm even worse off in production skills than Edward ;_;

Zwivix 02-08-2009 03:18 PM

Or if you got enough money you can even buy the mats from Nina in Eld.

Cost me 1 gold from T1 to T3(scrolls). Probably know this but stick to making T1 def scrolls.

Nina also gots mats for T1 pot and stone making.

Triumph 02-08-2009 04:23 PM

From my experience, setting up two or more vendors overnight with full purchasing capability should land you with significant amounts of material.

Lirange 02-08-2009 06:44 PM

whats the best way to get scroll mats besides buying them?

Spider KQ, KKP KQ, save up your drops... lol

- These Matters "materials" are easy to come if you know what kind of mobs that drops, go study the wiki, i always buy tier 2 dog tooth and compose them to tier 3...

- but most important of all like i said above, "first off max off your decomp/compose to tier 3, after that, all others skills production will come easy...

if any one need help with anything PM in the game...

I'm max on all skill production ..
Teva of course, though I Characters hopper...

Enraya 02-08-2009 09:37 PM

Save up important t2 materials from early levels, and then when you get to t3 on decomp/comp you can then decomp all other materials from t3 (which can be easily obtained through spider/kkp). T1 can just be bought from nina xD

Hessah 02-08-2009 09:43 PM

I do pretty much wat Crazy do... Decomp is important!

Buying mats can be a huge pain... not as many people do KKP as pre-lvl 79 cap...

you're much better off doing Spider & KKP KQ for your own mats...

Scroll wise - i work on T2 Aim... and save up all ur dogtooths for T3 vit and Def...

Zwivix I thought about this too because it's the smallest amount of mats at the lowest price. For Elrue, I was basically buying back the T2 mats and making them into Elrue/Lix/Xir 2, because they give more points for EXP than T1. As far as Scrolls, I will set aside a G for them and do it that way, so thanks.

Now I understand how noob players sell T3 potions. That mushroom is orange (WTF)!?

Ralath 02-08-2009 10:49 PM

Actually, if you're thinking about making a profit, vit scrolls might even be better. Maybe even Ment.

You can sell Def scrolls for ~200c but you can sell vit for ~400c and ment for ~500c.

Triumph 02-08-2009 10:58 PM

Vits are that expensive now?

I still recall selling 100k+ Vit T1 at 80c each.

Are they in uruga? people tend to make noob alts to place in uruga, coz sometimes u get trained with orcs...

Or.. u can just switch ur shroom to an orange shroom even if u're lvl 80 XD

but yeah.. vending alts are common... most "noobs" have a higher level main attach to it...

Some T1 stuff are surprisingly expensive!! T1 Elrues are like 200c O_o (we use to sell them for 40c), and T1 lix are like 1s! (you still make profit if u buy the elrues from Kenton and make them into lix)

now that's rediculous...

Ment for 500c ?! I have been selling them for 300c. No wonder they went fast. I acctually sell lix t1 for 1.5s, and i end up with good profit, but they sell slow.

Loveless 02-09-2009 12:02 AM

If that's the case maybe I'll start working on my scroll production more... need at least t3 scrolls for soloing. .___.

Not to mention I have a page and a half in my storage full of HQ SBL and BDT which I had been collecting since they started dropping and from Spider/KKP. I could probably make some good money selling those off too... I easily have 1k+ of each.

CrazyVietFs 02-09-2009 12:19 AM

current collection ...
350+tier3 vit
200+tier4 vit

BL - 20+ stacks
SBL - around 30 stacks
SBT - around 30 stacks
Tough Leader - around 8 stacks
Dangerous Toad - 5 stacks
Dust all 3 kinds tier 3 - around 10stacks each kinds
Shining Dust, 3 stack each kinds
dog tooth HQ... desperately needed it lmao... got 50 from my last KKP

Ralath 02-09-2009 12:22 AM

How do you guys have so much inventory room D:

Hessah 02-09-2009 12:22 AM

i think it's time u make some money with that Crazy....

wat should i call u? i feel weird calling u crazy

CrazyVietFs 02-09-2009 12:27 AM

- lmao Hessah.. Call me AnhKhai, ^^

and for me to have so much space, I spended 1g 200silver, and make 4 guilds... each character for a guild for storage lmao ^^ ... also got an alt account, though i kept all my green that are semi godly as collection...

- Just think, i sell off 600sil worth of lvl 60 and lvl 70 weapon to NPC lol

Loveless 02-09-2009 12:36 AM

Same I got myself a 30 day storage from CS. Dumped all my mats into that and just let it expire. :P Then made an alt guild for storage... that's another 2 pages. On top of that 3 of my characters have an Iron Case. -___-

Hessah 02-09-2009 01:11 AM

I have.. 2 accounts, one with an alt guild attached.. though it was annoying when i couldnt retrive my mats coz "too many people a viewing the page" >.> there's only 1 person in the guild!!

i saved up 4 rows of Elrue 3.... i dunno why @_@

Ahh.. Can i just call you Anh? Coz i'll forget LOL!!

Loveless 02-09-2009 01:13 AM

Yeah, I get that problem too trying to access guild storage and I'm the only person in it. D: I couldn't get to my enhancement stones so I had to buy them... >.>

Anything is probably bette than calling him Crazy. *0* Lol

I finally broke down and bought the extra 4 slots on my backpack for my main and alts, and I made two guilds with just me in them for extra storage.

Getting back to the original subject, boosting your production skills, decomp is the way to go. Buying mats from Nina is expensive but an option if you can afford it.

You need a skilled (t3) decomper to make this work and getting a decomper started is tough.

You start getting mostly t3 drops at lev 60. If you have not gained the skills to use them by then you have a problem if you can not decomp or know someone who can.

How I did it:

I created a char with comp and decomp and begain leveling him, I had little coin and little fame fame to purchase stones and mats so I spent a lot of time in echo cave mining copper and using what fame I had to buy t1 stones. The comp/decomp cycle is a lossy process, In the end I had nothing left to sell so there was no income.

The solution was to create two additional chars and level them to about 30. This gave me more mats, more fame and more coin to buy stones which I used.

Then I accepted a giuld invite from a new friend and spent a lot of time explaining how decomping from t2 to t1 could help them develop their production skills. I won't go into the details here but the same mats that will make 1 t2 scroll worth 4 points can make about 10-12 t1 scrolls worth 10-12 points and be sold for the same or more than you might get for 1 t2 scroll.

Soon I had many plp bringing me mats and stones to decomp for them. I became so popular that I was voted guild master when the original master left the game. After that it got easy and I rolled right in to t3 decomp. Everyone knew that I was working on t3 decomp and saved their mats so each time I gained a new skill I got blasted with more mats and stones which would push me to the next skill and so on.

THE POWER OF DECOMP!

Sounds tough but not impossible. I just have to save one of my production whores, and keep him on DECOMP.

Ralath 02-09-2009 07:55 PM

If you just decomp, you might be able to use the money you get from selling the decomps to buy your stones.

possable but more difficult.

Ralath 02-09-2009 09:25 PM

It's true D:

I do it all the time.

Samson007 02-09-2009 11:35 PM

Im well into T3 for both Scroll and Stone production on my main, level 72.

I did it ENTIRELY by buying the mats I need. I'm a bit lucky though, in that I can pretty much leave fiesta open 24 hours a day if I want because I don't live at "home" anymore. So i can constantly be buying mats and selling the scrolls and stones.

I still use the basic houses too, 5 slots. It definitely takes a long time, but once you get to T3 scrolls.............CHA CHING!
