Hunters War Rant Tested
 

I am doing the Mud quest which is long and boring to do. So I decided to test the Hunters War Rant to see how it effects doing a drop quest like muds.

I completed the mud quest solo with out the rant and counted each kill, drop, stone usage, and time spent completing the quest.

I than repeated the process using a Hunters War Rant.

So what were my findings... well here the are:

Conclusion is Hunters war rant is good when doing drop quests. It takes less time to complete the quest, uses less stones, and you get about the same in drops.

u use less HP stones coz u finish the quest quicker?

yep less kills to finish quest causes less stones needed and a lot less time. Almost can do two for the time of one.

nice.. so.. effectively, you would have twice the number of mats if you "grind" for the same amount of time?

Haha seems like it doesn't do much for regular drops though~

actually if you look at the numbers got almost the same amount of total normal drops in less kills. So it will give you more reg drops.

Ohhh so maybe it IS useful!

Now i know when I should use my War Rant for my archer...

Time was for me going slow because of having to document but I really just wanted to know if it took less time to fulfill the quest. And it did. I'll see how long it will take with rant and no documentation. Probably the same amount of time.

I was using a CS rant.

Oooo and En you kill much faster than lil o axe fighter like me cause you pro. :love:

since you talk about numbers i made this calculation for lizards data only.

since war rant should make 50% drop increase, number of kills should drop to 66.6% , can be proofed like this:

# of drops with rant = # drops with no rant
66.6% kills * 150% drop rate = 100% kills * 100% normal drop rate

in your case:
127/227 *100% = 55.95%
which is even less than expected, means you was lucky also (maybe)
