KQ Questions
 

Hello people. Ok today I did my first KQ. My first so well there's some questions I would like to ask.

1. Does having an empty box (the one on the right of your screen with your exp and stuff) help get into KQ?
2. What are the hearts below the timer?
3. Do you have to clear all the mobs on each ring before the electric gate thingy opens up?
4. If you die can you revive? (Might be linked to Question 2 somehow?)

1. If you have an empty box it would mean you have just relogged, which means you reduced some lag so yes it helps (for me anyway). Relogging right before KQ reduces the lag when you press participation, although some people says that doesn't work for them.

2. Hearts are your lives. If you use up all the hearts and you die again, you will be spawned back to town.

3. In the first kingdom quest (Slime one), yes. This is not necessary in other kingdom quests.

4. Yes, you can be revived, but you won't be revived in the first Slime KQ because revive is a level 20 skill which no one would have since max. level for that is 17. Later on in other KQs when you get revived, you don't use up a heart, so it's good to get revived.

may sound off topic, but since the Thread title allows it, i just ask :)

has anyone managed to kill Robo in the KQ ever? hes so much more powerful then to Robo in Vine tomb and also all those mobs..
we tried many times, but never had enough time to kill it

Every Robo i've been in has failed T_T *unlucky*

I actually have no idea.. when robo is killed, are all mobs supposed to disappear?

If that's the case, no, never killed it... but I never take notice cos I'm usually either running around cos I'm chased or I'm running with the runner.

I've been in a group that killed Robo once. Nothing special happens.

Since we are asking questions about KQ. I have been in only 6 so far. 5 Mara and 1 Gold Hill. We won all of them. I keep hearing people talking about the items they get from KQ. I get crap.
1. Mara - NOTHING!
2. Mara - lucky Elrue
3. Gold Hill - Which I was the main tank at lvl23 (wth). Lucky Elrue & Blessed Elrue which I promtly sold (I have broken 2 weapons both with blessed Lix)
4. Mara - lucky Elrue - Failed
5. Mara - lucky Elrue
6. Mara - lucky Elrue - Failed.

Where the heck are all those rare and special items everyone always talks about? I feal left out:(

They are rare. You will be doing KQ many more times, you will get something eventually.

rsx: Don't worry. For my Mara KQ's, I did a bunch and never got anything more than an empty box. [: Only once have I gotten something and it was great, a +4 Wind Heaven Hammer that I managed to get up to +6. So I guess "patience is a virtue" comes in place here.

Now for Robo's, in every Robo I've done so far [which is probably like 10+] I've NEVER gotten an empty chest. Always a blessed erule + 5 hp t2 pots. And then in some, I've gotten weapons and armor. I love Robo. xD

KQ are great for quick experience, if your group knows what they're doing. Done my cleric that way. Nothing but KQ since level 7 and she's 20 now. My my how quick she grows.

Well I have finally managed to survive KQ a few times.

1 Slime KQ - Died T_T
2 Slime KQ - Died Again T_T
3 Slime KQ - BroadSword +5 + Jelly Earring
4 Slime KQ - BroadSword +4
5 Slime KQ - BroadSword +5

Yea I'm pretty happy with what I've gotten...

Edit: Well I'm wondering if what I'm doing to "help" me get into KQ works.

1. Relog around 2 minutes before it starts. (To help reduce lag between server & client)
2. Close applications running in the background like MSN. (Reduce lag time between mouse click and computer response)
3. Use a timer ^_^ (Because the damned clock in the KQ window doesn't show seconds.)

Yea, that's what i do and ever since i'm able to get into any KQ's. Log off then log back on like 15secs before the clock strikes and i use a clock that shows seconds. Has never failed, except when i was too slow clicking on the button. Also, i make sure i'm away from populated area (ie: banker) Cause sometimes when i initially log in, the computer will try to draw out all the folks within the sight and sometimes it lags a bit. So now i just make sure i log off somewhere far away and it does the trick.

almost killed robo today
we failed, cos noone dared to tank it :F
i was alone, in no party. then, when the tank died and robo ran after a mage, noone taunted.. only me, who - without buffs and heals - was happy to survive maybe 15 seconds
then when i died noone tried to taunt again. once our tank was back in line, we ran out of time very close to kill it

Edit: next KQ we killed Robo :)
i didnt got my quest completed, but still. needs a couple of determinated tanks, the rest will follow
