Ether Saga: Which server will FF play on?
 

Let's decide on which server we'd all like to be in.

It's possible that the two server in each 'time zone' be split into PvP and non-PvP. So to start it off let's let the majority decide on either east or west coast.

The poll will have the east and west... and whether you will go for PvP or non-PvP sides (if there is any). Hopefully one side isn't blocked from the other. .__.

I was totally just gunna make on of these, well I voted for East Coast and PvE.

...If there is a PvP server how does the character level ? o.O

Well it's pretty much the same as PvE... you kill mobs to level and have quests but you have the option of killing and being killed by players. I'm not sure how PvP servers work to be honest cause I avoid those.

EDIT: And of course I make the mistake of voting for PvP... lmao. But fixed... -phew- xD

I live on the west coast but... I just picked east cause I like the server name. .___.

East coast and PVE? So is the PVP server like the pk server? Where when you are out on the field you can attack anyone sort of like abyss? if so then PVE :P I just want to pvp when I choose not when I'm trying to kill a hard enemy D:

I dunno which one I'd wanna go on o: But I would want pvp, mainly because if you run into noobs and idiots, you can just kill them. And with those things Loveless was talking about, it might help prevent random PKers.

Instead of reporting or arguing with them and risking never getting justice, just kill those who are bugging you \o/

Get higher leveled people to kill them for you o: Thats a downfall to pvp servers.. anyone can kill anyone whenever they want. Buuut, then the players govern themselves. If someone goes around random PKing, they can't expect to not get others on their arses to get back at them.

Some games have penalties for PK'ing don't they? If you go into PK mode you can't get out of it for xx amount of time and you can't do certain things? So to prevent random jerks.

On PW, if you PK'd, you'd turn pink, and red if you killed a lot, and if you're pink or red, when someone kills you, you drops stuff, and when you're red, you drop more.

Well, ESO is made by PW so they probably have a similar system to govern PvP? Allow jerk faces to think twice about killing randomly.

It was kind of nice.

I had some dude KSing me continuously one day on PW while I was questing. And then he started randomly flaming me, calling me noob and such. So I told Targon, then soon after that, Targon comes hopping from his sword and starts attacking the guy, chasing him off. He didn't come back and I finished my quest <3

I don't like random PKing, but justified PKing like that is fine. The guy was an archer, and I was a mage, so he would have owned me if I had tried to PK him myself.

Voted westcoast for obvious reasons, and I'd love to play
with people from FF but I'm gunna play on the westcoast server definetly
and if they have one, the pvp server.

You could always have an alt in the PvE server. :D

I'll probably try both... just will have PvE as main. This game is so highly anticipated; just hope it won't be too much of a let down in any way. >< And if it is really good Fiesta shall collect some dust.

Yeah 90% of the time games get over hyped, I hope thats not

It just means that their company does a very good job with advertising, which is a good thing. Just have to make sure they can deliver the promise which most companies fail at doing.

Yeah... I'm not making any plans. For all we may know, this game might suck.

I guess half the hype is due to the fact that PWI was a pretty good game... I just didn't keep playing cause the characters aren't exactly to my liking.

I like the name Pokari City, but I voted for... Basically the exact opposite of Dragon. D:
