a.L 01-27-2009 11:36 PM

Blaaaaaaaah 01-27-2009 11:37 PM

Hraesvelg 01-27-2009 11:40 PM

KT? Too apathetic to rewrite something? Say it ain't so! LOL

Blaaaaaaaah 01-27-2009 11:44 PM

But it's hot in my room toooooo

Yosei 01-27-2009 11:47 PM

Eww I hate muggy hot weather. All sticky, sweaty, air is thick. Bleh, makes me think of when I lived in Texas. I'd go to play with the water hose and the water would be hot D:

Hraesvelg 01-27-2009 11:48 PM

I guess I'm just one of the weird ones. I don't mind muggy weather. Sometimes I find drier air makes it harder to breathe. I'm probably developing gills.

Ralath 01-28-2009 12:02 AM

18 degrees Fahrenheit right now. Low of 8 degrees (-13.3 degrees Celsius). =/

And I have to get to a freaking Treasury meeting across campus later tonight... *sigh*

Andromeda 01-28-2009 12:12 AM

Melbourne and Adelaide are both having blistering hot temperatures but Adelaide is definitely having hotter temperatures though

Adelaide (BoM seems to have changed the weather forecast)

Today 44
Tomorrow 41
Friday 41
Saturday 40
Sunday 40

Now lets compare that to Melbourne

Today 41
Tomorrow 43
Friday 40
Saturday 40
Sunday 30

Ill never figure out why I live in one of the hottest cities in Australia =\

WHY ME!!!!

WHY!!!!!!!!!!

Hessah 01-28-2009 12:21 AM

funny that coz u're further away from the equator.. supposingly...

up north of Aust it's storming with cyclones O_o

fullback 01-28-2009 12:32 AM

5 °F / -15 °C THats what it is here.

Andromeda 01-28-2009 12:39 AM

O shiz its currently 44 °C now (At 12 noon) which for Americans that would be a little over 111 °F

Oh dear lord I can see it hitting 45 possibly today.

Hessah 01-28-2009 01:14 AM

Yuck!

Even aircon doesnt work too well in those tempretures

gaaa i cant spell all of a sudden

I would think Alice Springs / Darwin would be even hotter? But they're not O_o

Must be all the storms...

Alice Springs possibly but Darwin no. Darwin has more consistent hot weather rather than cold days and blistering hot weather which Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide get

and Holy Fuck sorry for the swearing but I need to say this

Today the city temperature of Adelaide reached 45.5 degrees centigrade at 1:48pm its currently 44.7 now

In my entire life Ive never experienced a 45 degree day this is what you call pure blistering hot. That temperature is also 1.7 degrees off from breaking Adelaide's record which was set about 70-90 years ago.

I'm so scared right now this is really what the climate is doing to the Earth. I don't think any capital city in Australia has experienced a temperature this hot for several and several of years.

For you Americans 45.5 degrees is 113.9 I can see the headlines on the news tonight about this because last time it got anywhere near this hot was 3-4 years ago when it hit 44.2 I believe. But never anything this bad.

Belaslav 01-28-2009 03:48 AM

Well, I did hear a rumor once that the ozone layer above Australia is very thin for some reason, maybe that's the reason?
