its so strange~
because its the photoshop extended it has all the 3D stuff so new icons on the toolbar
but but but T.T
they but a rotate tool on the tool bar.
the hotkey for it is R
R used to be blur/smudge/sharpen
I used blur/smudge so much but now I just cant hit R on the keyboard or the button on my wacom tablet to select the tool :cries::cries::cries:

and I dont know why but theres something wrong with my photoshop. the window has a yellowish tinge o.o
even when I paste it into MS Paint the canvas is still tinted

edit: now when I host them they look the same......bleh?
but the entire image is tinted when I'm viewing it in photoshop....
edit2: took a screenie of a screenie. the 2nd image is what im seeing in photoshop. its all yellowy D:

okay。 I'm kind of nubby about ps stuff but what's the difference between the two pictures you posted？

edited the 2nd picture to be a screenie of a screenie

For the shortcut I'm sure you can just assign a different key.
Go to Edit > Keyboard Shortcut... (is at the bottom)

My PS is fine... I have CS4 extended as well..

how do i assign blur/smudge to a different hotkey
dont remember and I cant find it....

I found keyboard shortcuts but that is changing the shortcuts that are in the menu
blur/smudge isnt in there :/
and blargh the yellow isnt going away when I try changing the color settings

if I open a new canvas its tinged too

even the white in my color palette is this yellowy color...

... that's so weird... o___o Hard to fix when I'm not the one having the problem... D:

yeah they are messing with the color settings too :/
gonna try and run photoshop in windows 7 and see if I have the same problem

like 3D rending that looks 100% real
and portfolios of people who actually work for pixar, movie studios, illustrators, or video game companies
and they have awesome articles like indepth interviews and such on how wall-e was constructed and the iron man suit

Did you read the lat bit on the thread? Something about resetting/clearing preferences?

I tried it but not sure if anything happened o.o
I installed my adobe updates and now it seems better
its not as tinted as it was before
I think its still tinted
but it might be me being paranoid
but it doesnt look like #FFFFFF D:
its still more #feffdd ish

photoshop wont let me run it across platforms
when I open CS3 on windows 7 the canvas does look white as it should be
