Guild War
So it's pretty much who's got the most pots, on a 1 on 1? or is it more strategic like 10 vs 1 :p ?

From what i've been told its basically just who's got the most potions. Which is cool with me because that means i'll be wining every single battle. I make tons of HP and SP potions from all the materials I farm on a daily basis.

Man what a resource drainer. Does the guild benefits anything from winning a war? or players for most kills?

Not that I know of. All I heard was that it was pretty much a waste of money. I guess all you really get is bragging rights from it but people will still deny that kind of thing.

It's fun to watch though. People killing each other in front of you mushroom shop in the middle of Elderine.

Its not fun to watch when your Computer can't handle something like that. They need a specific area for Guild Wars. Also the GM events are horrid. I got caught in the middle of one and my Computer nearly exploded from the massive amount of people in it.

Truely boring to me. Watching 2 people wacking each other isn't much fun if all they do is just stand there. It'll be more fun if there was at least some kind of real action like chasing and stuff, almost like in Warcraft. PvP here kinda suck imo.

Well it still is in its Beta but I doubt they'll improve it. I've never been a fan of PvP in any game. There's too many ways for the other player to get an advantage over you especially if you're like me and only play Mage/Support classes.

There'll always be a rock-paper-scissor game going in pvp. If a class always won in pvp then there'll be too much of an imbalance; like everyone would play such class. Cause everyone wants to be the strongest, bestest, badest, and most killest (word?) player in-game.

Well actually... I just meant that a lot of people who play MMORPGs and PvP have no life they're able to afford or acquire items that give them a major advantage over players like me who have a little bit of a life. Then again I rarely ever PvP and if I do PvP its to keep my title as the "Worlds Greatest Mage". xP

I reckon guild wars are pretty fun to watch when there's a whole bunch of people. The most interesting I've watched was one between Millenion and Oblivion, where they had two bunches of people running around like mad. You'd see a bunch of one guild chasing one person, and then when that person gets owned, the guild goes and revenge... it's a funny cycle.
Participating is fun too. :3 Although I was never able to go on a killing spree since I was pretty low levelled, and hard to kill someone when I'm a low level cleric. @.@ I was only good at surviving and running, heh! |
I'm sure it could be fun, but from what i've seen is people standing besides each other and banging on each other's head just like in those old cartoons.

Teva must be different from Apoline because its basically watching a person fight a mob. Not fun and all it does is lag my Computer to hell. There's plenty of ways to make it a lot more fun and interesting but I doubt they'll ever change it. If they do I just might participate in some. But first... I gotta create my own Guild. I don't join any Guild because 99.9% of them are filled with people who you can't talk about without getting threatened to get kicked out of. They act like they control you just because you joined their lame ass Guild with their lame ass name.

I find them fun ^^ I find a lot of satisfaction in killing a higher leveled mage. Also when I suck out the SP in people, and seeing them stall, like "WTF?"
