[Need Tech Support] Firefox 3.0.5
 

I've just downloaded Firefox onto my work computer (Vista)

and I know at home, my firefox would do spell check on me as I type... underlying anything that's mispelt in red...

But it's not working on this firefox here at the moment... I checked under Tools > Options > Advanced and "Check my spelling as I type" is ticked...

what else could it be that's would do my spell checking?

Maybe it only works on word? or maybe it's Fiestafan? is it just this website or all websites ?

But this is firefox spell check, it shouldn't have anything to do with Word..?

At home with a lower version of firefox, it worksi n Fiestafan...

The spell check here at work isnt working for Outspark forum either...

Maybe someone who actually has firefox could help you x3 and maybe this would be better in technical support? o.O Sorry Hessah wish I could help more.

My Firefox spell check doesn't work on FF's quick replies, but it does in advanced mode. Is it not working on any other site? You may need to restart the browser after changing the spell setting. Otherwise, I'm not sure what's going on.

Hmmm I just reopened Firefox.. doesnt work..

even in Advance reply... surely asdfas isnt a proper word XD

In the firefox at home, the spell check works on quick reply too...

Highlight the text in the text box field
Right click on it
If you see "Add Dictionaries" in the context menu, select it
Install the Australian English dictionary
Restart Firefox

If you still don't see the spell checking, just highlight the text, right click and select "Check spelling" to activate the spell checker.

I don't remember adding a dictionary to my firefox at home but I must have...

For some reason, mine doesn't work in quick reply box too, not until I switch the editor mode.

You missed this bit:
